Small and mid-sized companies often take the approach that #leadershipdevelopment is a "nice to have" vs. a "need to have." They think to themselves, "oh we'll invest in leadership development when we make it or when we get bigger." What they don't realize is that they will get bigger and more profitable FASTER if they invest in leadership development for their people. It's like when people say "I'm too busy to do 5 minutes of meditation every day" - the reality is those are likely the people who need to do 10 minutes of meditation every day.
