More accountants are retiring than are entering the profession with no indication this trend will reverse 2. The demand for quality accounting is increasing with over 3 million current professionals in a $100B+ market The key to solving this disparity will be automation, specifically with modern software and AI. Accounting leaders will need tools like Rillet to provide an army of staff accountants, enabling them to stop doing the work and start reviewing it. COA restructure in NetSuite requires careful planning - especially if you are consolidating multiple accounts. 1) We have to make sure the mapping documentation is clear - especially for many to one account relationships. 2) Let's budget for time to comb through historical transactions - adding additional segments after consolidation (Department, Location, Class or Custom Segments) 3) Might be a great idea to get a second Sandbox account if you are already live on NetSuite - testing and reconciliation is key for future audits.
