The purpose of the project is provide areas with little or no internet connectivity with the means to get online. We’re doing this by building, installing and maintaining a series of access points throughout Augusta. The first of which was deployed in the spring of 2013.

Our Lighthouse Access Points will broadcast a high speed internet connection in a 1/2 mile radius or more. Our first installation was put in place at 606 Crawford Avenue and will provide free internet access to members of the Harrisburg community. This is the first of many installations we hope to put in place.
