🇺🇲🇮🇱 *HOSTAGE DEAL UPDATE* After speaking with President Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff and Biden's envoy Brett McGrath, PM Netanyahu has authorized a high-level Israeli delegation to immediately depart to Qatar in the wake of "advanced progress" and "new developments" in the hostage deal negotiations. The head of the Mossad, the head of the Shin Bet, IDF Major General (Res.) Nitzan Alon, and Bibi's political advisor Ofir Falk are going to Doha with the aim of continuing to advance a deal for the release of the hostages. This is the first time since August that this group has traveled together to Qatar. PM Netanyahu sent a high-level Israeli delegation to Qatar, including Mossad and Shin Bet chiefs, to push for a hostage-ceasefire deal with Hamas, as U.S. and Israeli officials express cautious optimism about progress in the negotiations. Negotiations for the return of the hostages. A Hamas source told the Saudi-owned Asharq Al-Awsat that Hamas' flexibility surprised the Israeli delegation in the negotiations. The source involved in the negotiations added: "We are getting closer to announcing an agreement and a deal for the exchange of prisoners. This depends on the Israeli response, and if Israel does not come up with new conditions, the agreement will be ready for announcement by the mediators, Egypt, Qatar and the United States." The source clarified that Hamas demonstrated great flexibility that surprised the Israeli side by agreeing to submit a list of the names of the living hostages as part of the first phase, adding eleven hostages at Israel's request during the current round of negotiations in the first phase of the deal, not refusing to leave Israeli forces on the Philadelphia route and to the presence of Israeli forces on the Netzarim route, the Rafah crossing will not be opened, but with a promise for the return of the displaced through an electronic checkpoint equipped with cameras at the western al-Shuhada junction (al-Rashid - al-Cornish road) at the beginning of the first phase of the deal, which will last between six and eight weeks.

I spent a productive week meeting with clients in NY and NJ recently. In particular, we had great conversations with the Emunio Logistics team about the challenges in the emerging NJ cannabis market. One thing I keep coming back to is New Jersey's clear appetite for local and small business success in the market. 🤔 When the NJ recreational market launched, multi-state operators (MSOs) initially dominated the space, as many medical dispensaries (primarily owned by MSOs) converted to dual-use for both medical and recreational sales. With their capital, infrastructure, and resources, they had a clear advantage. BUT there’s a strong desire for local, independent cannabis businesses in NJ. Consumers want to support small businesses over large corporations. Social equity applicants and small brands are steadily entering the market, despite the challenges. I’ve been a small business before, and know what it takes to thrive when you’re up against bigger players. I’ve been thinking about what we can do at Osovsky Cannabis Consulting to help those smaller businesses succeed in NJ’s MSO-saturated market. Drawing from my experience in the Oregon market, I’ve seen how the survival of small businesses depends on forging beneficial relationships in the local area. Networking and partnerships will be essential. Something I’m proud that we’re building into OCC is a framework for new, small (but mighty) local businesses like the ones emerging in NJ to succeed. 🇮🇱🇸🇾 WHY ISRAEL IS WORRIED ABOUT SYRIA: PM Netanyahu will hold a special security discussion tonight with senior officials on the topic of Syria and Lebanon. The urgent security discussion in Israel tonight has many worried about the unprecedented situation in Syria. Israeli reporters are saying that from conversations they've been having with senior IDF officials, the security apparatus is "closely following" the rebel offensive. The offensive, which has severely damaged Iranian/Syrian/Hezbollah forces and militias in the area, is of great interest to Israel. Hezbollah and IRGC units in Syria are busy trying to fight off the attack instead of focusing on Israel. Doron Kadosh from IDF Radio asserts that Israel should consider whether it is content to watch from the sidelines, or whether this development has an effect on their own military operations in Syria. This is a very rapid and uncertain situation, and Israel will need to make quick decisions on how/if they're going to intervene.

But they use the Bible to support their claims. 🔻God’s covenant with Abraham🔻 They use God’s covenant with Abraham, Genesis 15:18: “To your descendants I give this land from the River of Egypt to the Great River, the river Euphrates.” BUT…. in the Biblical account, Abraham’s “descendants” include not just the Jews through Isaac, but also their “cousins,” the Arabs through Ishmael—in which case the covenant was long ago amply fulfilled. A 1985 Tehran reprint of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion included a map, the “Dream of Zionism,” which purports to show Greater Israel’s ideal boundaries. It showed within this Israel the whole of inhabited Egypt, Saudi Arabia down to Medina, all of Syria, Iraq, and Kuwait, the oil-producing region of Iran, and a good-sized slice of Turkey. To make matters complete, the boundary is drawn in the shape of a snake; and the scales are represented by a Freemason’s Eye drawn repeatedly along the snake’s back. 🇮🇱🇸🇾 Israel has conquered Mt. Hermon, the highest mountain in Syria, its peak reaching 2,814m. Syria’s capital, Damascus, is only 40 km away, now within range of Israel’s artillery shells. Here’s why Israel took this mountain: For decades, Israel’s northern defenses were overshadowed by Syria's Mt. Hermon. No longer. The most important natural fortress in the region is now in the hands of Israel. Israel did it quietly, driving into Syria's abandoned positions and taking them without a fight. In the past, Israel’s radars suffered from a significant blind spot, unable to see beyond Mt. Hermon and parts of Lebanon from their position on Mt. Meron. Iran's low-flying drones exploited this weakness, infiltrating Israel time and time again. Once placed on Mt. Hermon, Israel’s radars will see far into both Syria and Lebanon, providing early warning of incoming low-flying jets and drones. Israel’s intelligence can also leverage the peak, placing sensors to conduct surveillance and intercept enemy communications. The mountains also provide the perfect cover for Israel’s special forces and spies, who can now enter Syria more freely, conducting missions under the cover of darkness. As the sun rises, Mt. Hermon casts a shadow over Hezbollah’s stronghold in Southern Lebanon, dominating the main road to their northern stronghold in the Beqaa Valley. Several of Hezbollah’s smuggling routes north of the Hermon have been cut off. Be it ISIS, HTS, Iran, or Hezbollah, a hostile force advancing toward Israel will now be exposed -- at the mercy of Israel’s drones, surface-to-surface missiles, and laser-guided bombs. BREAKING: UN General Assembly passes resolution calling for Jerusalem Old City to be Jew-free The Palestinian-fronted resolution passed by wide margin, demanding that the Israeli army and Jewish residents evacuate to pre-1949 line within a year. Jerusalem’s Old City, in addition to Judea and Samaria, must be Judenrein within a year, according to a Palestinian-drafted resolution, which the U.N. General Assembly passed on Wednesday. The resolution, which passed by a 124-14 margin with 43 abstentions, is meant to give force to a July advisory opinion by the International Court of Justice, which declared Israeli presence to be illegal in any area over the 1949 armistice line. More than 40 countries sponsored the resolution, which was the first that Palestinians filed after being granted unprecedented privileges, for a non-U.N. member, earlier this year. The resolution calls on the Israel Defense Forces to withdraw completely from Judea and Samaria, eastern Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip within 12 months, which means evacuating all Jewish communities beyond the armistice line, including Jerusalem’s Old City. It also bans arms sales to the IDF of any equipment that would be expected reasonably to be used in the territory over the 1949 lines and calls for a boycott of all products produced by Jews in those areas. The resolution text lacks any mention of Israeli security concerns, historic ties to the lands or Hamas’s terror attacks in Israel on Oct. 7. The vote came after a day of debate on Tuesday. Argentina, Czechia, Fiji, Hungary, Malawi, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Tonga, Tuvalu and the United States joined Israel in opposing the resolution. Notably, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, Italy, Ukraine and Australia were among those who abstained. General Assembly resolutions have no legal force, but the resolution’s passage on Wednesday is expected to be used in international courts and other fora to seek additional action against the Jewish state. It is widely expected that the Palestinians will request that the U.N. Security Council take up the issue. Where is the outcry, where are the evangelical Christians? Azerbaijan has been attacking Armenia and Armenians for the past four years. Hundreds of thousands of Armenians have been displaced from land they have lived on for THOUSANDS of years. And Israel and Turkey have sold high tech weapons to Azerbaijan, enabling this genocide. Where is the outcry? Azerbaijan is a Muslim dictatorship, by the way. Their current president is the son of the previous president. Their vice president is the wife of the current president. That is a dictatorship. And they, with the help of Turkey and Israel, want to finish the job Turkey started in the 1890s and accelerated in 1915. They want to wipe Armenia and Armenians off the face of the earth. Where is the outcry? Why does US foreign policy support Azerbaijan and Turkey when they openly engage in this behavior?
