“I have worked indirectly with Daniel on a project for Salesforce. I have thoroughly appreciated all of his transparency in advisement while we have built our roadmap for our company. When trying to build this roadmap for success for my company, it's easy to get bogged down in figuring out next steps, detail, etc., but Daniel's assured advisement puts me at ease and adds a little more confidence on some of the choices I have made during this lengthy process of the project. I believe he is part of what will be a successful project when it comes time to wrap-up and close. Thanks Daniel for all the advice, it has been a breath of fresh air!”

What are the top reasons for CRM system dissatisfaction and how can you address them?
CRMs are built for a sizable number of customers, some with specific industries in mind, some with sectors in mind (Sales, Service etc.) Very few are built with a specific business in mind. Every business is different in a few ways and the beauty of CRM is that it can be configured or customized to fit the unique needs of the business. Taking time to tailor the CRM to your specific business needs is critical to impact user adoption, ease of use, reporting and many of the other challenges discussed in this article. Customization doesn't have to be complex or expensive for many new CRMs but taking some time to personalize the CRM to match your brand will always carry some ROI!

What are the top reasons for CRM system dissatisfaction and how can you address them?
A CRM is helpful in many ways because of the data it collects. If that data is hard to report or is inadequate it renders a major part of the tool to be quite useless in many minds. Inadequate data is costly and painful if you need the information. Some CRMs make it seamless to slice and dice information however you and your team seem fit. Some makes it a painful process and at times the data is there, but you cant get it together properly so parts are missing. Defining key information that must be entered for every data point is very important for reducing frustration and providing the benefit of CRM

What are the top reasons for CRM system dissatisfaction and how can you address them?
Poor User Adoption is a major challenge for CRMs. Organizations need to not just tell but show how CRM is benefitting end users and the organization. avoiding a forceful mentality, and encouraging end user feedback that not always but at times does end up as positive changes to the CRM can make dramatic positive outcomes. ease of use is also a big factor and reassuring your team that you are trying to make the system easier as you approach change can go a long way.

In the years I helped with the program we saw many students break at the state level and the national level. We started a student congress debate program and had a student win the NSDA National Tournament and NSDA Championship PO. As well as place 2nd at NCFL Grand Nationals.
At both of those tournaments we were recognized as either a top 5 team in the country or a top 40 team in the country based on competitors records or speech points. -
