You’re struggling to manage your influencer relationships. What’s the key to making it work?
Work with influencers who are brand enthusiasts and who are genuinely interested in what they are promoting. More often than not, these will be self-starters who are more reliable with follow-through and delivery. Plus, their affinity will play out into their creative, which will make for UGC that attracts Gen Z who value realness, and who can sniff out inauthenticity like it's their job. When the influencer reaches out first, this is also a great sign that they are motivated. If you want to hire disabled influencers, be sure to make your onboarding accessible. Be inclusive in how you set-up expectations around deliverables, i.e. understand things like "Disabled/Crip Time" and work that into your process. Finally, PAY them. Cash money.

How do you become a talent brand manager?
Is your talent roster inclusive of people with disabilities? Don’t forget to involve this demographic who bring unique value to brands through their often interesting, impactful, creative, accessible, conspicuous and out-of-the-box approaches. In a sea of choices, people with disabilities stand out and you can find these creators across niches.
