“Gretchen was on my leadership team at PowerObjects for nearly 8 years. While she was running consulting team, she hired, trained, and developed the technical capability of the team. She then created PowerObjects University specifically focused on certification and skill-building of our technical resources. She also owned our public-facing educational programs, which required her to evaluate the market and determine the best offerings, build them, and measure the success. She was a key player in helping create the largest dedicated Dynamics player in our channel and has a unique set of skills. As her manager, I also say on a personal level Gretchen was a fun person to work with. She has a high set of standards and makes those around her better by the moral high road she chooses to take. I highly recommend Gretchen as a strategic, goal-focused leader!”

How can you align training sessions with your learners' prior knowledge and experience?
At a minimum you can do a show of hands to acknowledge your group has some experience or may even be an expert level on the topic. If you have time, ask learners what their experience with the topic is as you kick off the session. Again, time permitting try to bring the learners' experience into the training where relevant. If doing a survey prior to the session, ask about their prior knowledge and also if they are willing to share their experience with others during the session. Perhaps they are a potential guest presenter or breakout leader.

Gamification provides a strategy for measuring, rewarding, and encouraging user engagement. With gamification, users of the business application accumulate points, badges, levels, or other rewards for taking certain actions in the system. -
