    When the previous organizers announced that the 20th festival would be the last, I was part of a group that refused to accept the end of such a wonderful event. We hosted virtual events through the pandemic, and returned to the streets of Portsmouth finally in 2022 with a new series of festivals celebrating traditional maritime music and the history and culture of Portsmouth and New England.
