After working for years, I went back to school in Rutgers University and Columbia University, where I completed my Executive MBA in Finance with honors. My exams in Macroeconomics and Microeconomics are still distributed to Exec MBA students as examples.

I did my final MS project in Cryptography based on RSA Algorithms. I had a full assistantship where I worked one year in Network Systems and the next as a teaching assistant for Programming Languages (undergrad CS students) and undergrad Math.

I am a US Citizen, born in Greece. I attended the National Technical University of Athens In Greece, Civil Engineering. All our books were translated from the University of California-Berkeley. NTUA has the same level of respect and difficulty in the country as MIT. The National Exams in the country are very tough, difficult to get in and very competitive. I took all the advanced Math classes there. I transferred to SUNY Albany with a full scholarship and earned my BS with magna cum laude.

  • Real-Life Multimarker Monitoring in Patients with Heart Failure: Continuous Remote Monitoring of Mobility and Patient-Reported Outcomes as Digital End Points in Future Heart-Failure Trials

    Digital Biomarkers

Aims: Heart failure (HF) affects approximately 26 million people worldwide. With an aging global population, innovative approaches to HF evaluation and management are needed to cope with the worsening HF epidemic. The aim of the Real-Life Multimarker Monitoring in Patients with Heart Failure (REALIsM-HF) study (NCT03507439) is to evaluate a composite instrument comprising remote, real-time, activity-monitoring devices combined with daily electronic patient-reported outcome (ePRO) items in…

changes over time and correlations/associations with conventional endpoints such as biomarkers and clinical events.
    7. Address the challenges and feasibility of implementing device based measurements under real-life conditions.
    8. Look at items generated from patient experiences (Mobile Apps with questionnaires) in combination with sensors that would capture dimensions of exercise and can be used as patient-centric approach in clinical studies.

    Long-Term Outcomes
    9. Engage in Digital solutions that help drive adherence to treatment and outcomes that payers and governments seek
    10. Generate the data that pharma companies need to demonstrate their drugs' superior efficacy
    11. Use data to drive superior insight and decision making.
    12. Transform business processes to provide real-time responsiveness.
