Throughout my years as a Scout, I learned many aspects about myself as well as what I can do to better the lives around me. I was nominated by my troop to be Senior Patrol Leader. This resulted in me leading a troop of roughly 60 Scouts. I helped them achieve merit badges, milestone achievements in their Scouting career, and motivated them to go above and beyond. Enjoying my time as a Scout would be an understatement, it truly was an experience I will cherish for life. Leadership skills and…

The top 10 family offices for startup investments made over 150 investments combined this year, in everything from biotech and energy to crypto and artificial intelligence, according to a new analysis. CNBC partnered with Fintrx, the private wealth intelligence platform, to analyze single family offices that made the largest number of investments in private startups in 2024. The list, a first of its kind, sheds light on the investments by some of the biggest names in family offices, from Bernard Arnault’s Aglaé Ventures to Laurene Powell Jobs’ Emerson Collective and Peter Thiel’s Thiel Capital. It also reveals names that are little known outside the secretive world of family offices — the private investment arms of wealthy families — but that have become major players in the world of venture capital and private markets.

Innovators embrace clear regulations to launch products that solve problems, not create new ones. At the same time, staying abreast of the patchwork of regulations can be daunting: the global crypto regulatory landscape is evolving rapidly, with regulatory authorities emphasizing consumer protection, financial stability, and combating illicit activities.
