Broadcom's acquisition of VMware seems to have left many customers in turmoil. Gartner VP analyst Michael Warrilow highlights that VMware users are "all miserable," facing license cost hikes of 200–500%. Worse, account teams are gone due to redundancies, leaving users stranded without support. Broadcom reportedly only engages during license renewals, often cutting it close to leave customers little room to negotiate.
