    A team of myself + two classmates successfully developed an online advertising marketplace, pitching the business and winning third place in the 2016 SME Dobson cup ($4000 prize). This particular years' task was to identify a strategic innovation to reduce global poverty, doubling the income of the poorest billion people on the planet by 2022.

This particular years' task was to identify a strategic innovation to reduce global poverty, doubling the income of the poorest billion people on the planet by 2022.

    As the team captain of one of the thirty teams selected to advance, we travelled to London, England to pitch our idea in the regional finals. Our idea consisted of a garbage grinder paired with an innovational building material capable of transforming waste into bricks, to help rebuild communities and double income. Our team was selected from 50,000+ individuals whom applied.

    NextGEN

    Each year, the International Franchising Association selects 20 students and young professionals to compete in the Global Franchising Business Pitch Competition in Las Vegas. Hosted by NextGen Franchising, the competition awards students for innovational ideas, capable of being franchised and scaled. I was selected as a Global Finalist, where I was flown to Las Vegas to pitch in front of franchising leaders from across the world.
