We are the passionate people behind a movement that seeks to educate and inspire young people to succeed in a global economy. Through age-appropriate curricula, JA programs begin at the elementary school level, teaching children how they can impact the world around them as individuals, workers and consumers. JA programs continue through the middle grades and high school, focusing on the key content areas of entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy.

We do all this with the help of our volunteers. Volunteers who so care about our youth they take time out of their day to make a difference. How do we know this? We have external evaluations that measure the impact of our programs. For more information on JA's effectiveness and detailed program info, see our Programs section.

  • The Mobile Loyalty Program Formula: Reduce Friction, Collect Valuable Data

    AdWeek

Consumers view loyalty programs favorably and willingly enroll to receive rewards from their favorite brands. Consumers view loyalty programs favorably and willingly enroll to receive rewards from their favorite brands. However, if the program is not easily accessible and intuitive, it will inevitably lead to a lag in member participation, rendering the program less effective. In fact, the average consumer belongs to 14.8 loyalty programs but is only active in 6.7 of them.

There are several factors that create friction for loyalty members—one being as simple as consumers forgetting to bring physical loyalty cards along when they shop in-store. Another includes consumers refusing to jump the hurdles of connecting their in-store profile with their digital profile.

In addition, consumers often use different email aliases to prioritize their communication with businesses, leading many members to forget which email or phone number they initially used to sign up for a loyalty rewards program.

These outdated processes not only create friction for the consumer during the buying process but also lead to inaccurate customer data for brands, deepening the chasm in the consumer-brand relationship.

To improve the customer experience of loyalty programs, brands are turning to mobile to drive enrollment and participation. Mobile can instantly connect a consumer’s relevant data to a loyalty program, expediting enrollment and participation and ultimately ensuring accurate customer data for brands.

We are a group of Chicago founders who have come together to support the next generation of entrepreneurs. We all have direct experience founding, operating and investing in digital technology based businesses that leverage the developments of the past forty years. We owe a debt to the innovators who came before us and it is a debt we intend to repay by helping to fund promising new ideas and the entrepreneurs who have the passion and the drive to see their ideas become reality.
