In third place 232 days just before the DotCom bubble burst in 2000 - It is not likely to have a massive crisis, similar to 2000 and 2008, but it is likely to have a recession and more than 50% probability of a stagflation. Sector that would drive the drop is commercial real estate and consumers who are quite leveraged in credit card debt and shadow banking borrowing like buy now pay later schemes. Zionism flourished because its heartbeat lies in the USA. The puzzling question to many around the world is why does the US allow the genocide to continue without an effective ceasefire implementation policy. Surely that would be a humanitarian intervention. As a world leading hedgemony and superpower it can halt the war with immediate effect. Why would it choose not to? An obvious reason is its “close relationship” and unconditional support for Israel as evidenced through diplomatic and military means and Israel’s right to “self defence”. However, the primary reason for US’s disingenuous and hypocritical support lies much deeper. It’s more than a Hamas vs Israel battle. It’s a US vs Palestinian battle as it is a resistance against a hedgemony and it deserves to be taught a lesson. How dare Hamas interfere with normalisation between Arab dictator states and Israel. This was an American initiative which was destroyed by Hamas which insulted and injured US pride as a global superpower. So all of Palestine will suffer “from the river to the sea”. The idea was that Biden and Netanyahu could have made history by bringing about Arab and Israel peace which was never achieved by previous Administration on both sides and would have made them heroes. The US pivot that supports the axis of the Israeli genocide is on display.

For example: The Automobile of the future will follow 4 major trends: 🚗 Connected 🚗 Autonomous 🚗 Electric & 🚗 Shared These important trends will make the cars of the future extremely vulnerable to #CyberAttacks that could possibly turn millions of such cars into weapons. 🔥🔥 Imagine a foreign agency using its software control over such vehicles to manipulate the temperature of the EV-batteries 🔋 🔋, getting them to overheat & start burning and then use command and controls of autonomous vehicles to turn them against their owners and their host countries. Mizrahi Tefahot Bank & Occupied Palestinian Territories According to Who Profits, Mizrahi Tefahot Bank provides financing for construction projects in Israeli settlements in the OPT, mortgages for homeowners in settlements, as well as financing to regional and local settlement councils. Among various examples from recent years, the bank provided the company Avnei Derech loans in 2020 and 2021 for its 160-unit housing project in Alfei Menashe settlement. In 2020, Who Profits recorded a loan to the company Kotler Adika for a construction project in Ramot, a settlement neighbourhood in occupied East Jerusalem, and a mortgage on three plots in Ramot in 2021. In both examples, the bank holds the companies’ contractual and actual rights in the land and project as collateral. Moreover, Who Profits reports that Mizrahi Tefahot Bank provides services to various local and regional settlement councils, including accounts held by Gush Etzion, Efrat and Alfei Menashe. In 2021, Efrat settlement received an investment of NIS 15 million (EUR 4.1 million) involving six banks and investment firms, including Mizrahi Tefahot Bank. The bank and its subsidiary, Bank Yakav, also operate various branches in settlements located in the West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem. Mizrahi Tefahot Bank is among the business enterprises included in the updated UN Database (June 2023), due to the provision of services and utilities supporting the maintenance and exis- tence of settlements; banking and financial operations helping to develop, expand or maintain settlements and their activities, including loans for housing and the development of business- es; and the use of natural resources, in particular water and land, for business purposes. The economic cost is not a factor in #Israel decision to expand fighting into #lebanon. After the war in Lebanon started, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝗿𝗮𝗲𝗹'𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭.𝟮% 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟬.𝟰%, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟰.𝟭% 𝘁𝗼 𝟮.𝟳%. A few days ago, Bank of Israel (BoI) also adjusted its forecasts to 0.5% in 2024 and 3.8% in 2024. While the fiscal position will deteriorate, Israel has enough room to absorb the rise in the debt level and FX reserves are at a record high. 𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝗿𝗮𝗲𝗹𝗶 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗿𝗮𝗻: if true, then this is a factor of prioritizing the war in Lebanon and receiving THAAD over a significant escalation with Iran. This means that we will see another round of direct attacks between Iran and Israel in the coming months. Although the Israeli economy can withstand the current war on Gaza and Lebanon, it will nevertheless continue bearing the brunt of this war for some time after the war ends. 29.4.2024 Israel’s genocide-war of total destruction Nearly 37.5 million tons of conflict-generated debris are present throughout Gaza, with 3.2 million tons attributed to damaged roads, according to a preliminary joint analysis by UN-Habitat and UNEP, which integrates the findings of a UNOSAT Damage Assessment as of 29 February with building data as of May 2023. The analysis reveals a 63 per cent increase in the amount of debris present in Gaza as of 29 February, compared with just seven weeks prior on 7 January. The northern areas have suffered the largest scale of damage and destruction, with over 15 million tons of debris having accumulated in the Gaza governorate, nearly nine million in North Gaza and almost eight million in Khan Younis, followed by Deir al Balah (over 2 million tons) and Rafah (509,000 tons). UNMAS reports that much of this debris is laced with unexploded ordinance (UXO); while determining the exact amount of UXOs throughout Gaza is impossible, at least 10 per cent of ammunition fails to detonate when fired, UNMAS explains, estimating that up to 14 years might be required to clear all explosive threats and make Gaza safe again. https://lnkd.in/dzrzm9Tn

Story Time: Middle Eastern Venture Debt An entity purporting to be a low-cost venture lender from the Middle East recently "scammed" a prospect of MSC's. We warned this prospect that we had evaluated this type of lender before, and that we believed it highly likely to be a scam. Out of desperation, she moved forward. It turned out to be a scam and she lost somewhere in the neighborhood of $100,000. The pitch she heard went something like this, "We offer low-cost bridge loans to innovative companies experiencing liquidity issues likely to be resolved by upcoming equity financing rounds." Our prospect responded and met with the lender, the lender provided Case Studies and various "proofs" of good business practices, and then the lender provided a term sheet for a multi-million dollar loan at a low rate of interest with a manageable repayment schedule. This term sheet included (a) a term for a financing fee to be paid upfront, and (b) a contingency for "due diligence." The lender then conducted said "diligence," and it produced an agreement for a Promissory Note. The prospect signed it, which triggered the lender's request for the financing fee. The prospect, confused, indicated that she thought the lender would deducted the fee from the proceeds of the loan. The lender indicated that would violate some sort of Middle Eastern custom, and the prospect acquiesced. The lender then ghosted her and kept the financing fee…   This transaction reinforced our understanding of how difficult it is for Founders to navigate the capital markets. Founders need to tell "great stories to great audiences" to avoid scam and to maximize their chances of securing the capital their companies need.   What makes a great story? If a company is already generating at least $1MM annual revenue, then it needs to be capable of achieving $100MM annual revenue within 3-7 years. It needs to know how it can quickly win new customers from a robust sales pipeline, how it can expand with its existing customers, and how it retains customers. It needs a team that has done this before. It needs a credible staffing plan with pre-defined roles and expectations for each. It also needs a pipeline for CAPITAL.   What makes a great audience? It includes both lead investors and follow-on investors. The check sizes for these investors must make sense within the context of the capital requirements for the business. These investors must have been recently active in the relevant subindustry. The vehicle for sourcing capital must match preferences for these investors. The geography for the company must also match investor preferences.
