Being the elected global student representative, I speak on behalf of all EMB undergraduate/graduate students and represent the students' views during the EMBS AdCom (Administrative Committee, that makes executive-level decisions for the Society). Propose and vote on new initiatives that help the needs and concerns of all EMB students. -

Served as conference chair of 1st IEEE EMBS International Student Conference (ISC'13). It's the first "By-Students For-Students" conference; all the participants of the event are students /graduate students (authors, attendees, organizers, speakers, reviewers, and track chairs). After the success of the conference, IEEE EMBS launched another 4 intentional student conferences in England, Canada, Malaysia, and Chile.
