Feed an agent slop, and it will quietly turn noise into conviction One of the most broken items in financial and research workflows is entity resolution. And it often fails in cases that should be easy. Take a simple query: News for “Lemonade (LMND)” - a public company with a ticker, SEC filings, and clear market identifiers. We ran this through a widely used news API provider. The results were surprisingly poor: 20 out of 100 results were off-target. Not subtle misses. Completely unrelated results, including a K-pop song called “LEMONADE,” a vacation Bible school flyer, a drug recall notice from Vietnam, and a summer festival in Reading. This is supposed to be an easy case for a public company with a ticker, unlike a private company with no ticker, limited public footprint, and names that overlap with products, places, songs, events, and other businesses. That is where most agentic data pipelines quietly degrade. We ran the same query through akta.pro and got 100% on-topic results. The difference is our patent-pending agentic entity resolution system, which understands companies, topics, parents, subsidiaries, and namesakes based on what they actually are. Entity resolution that holds across 20M+ private companies. In agentic finance workflows, retrieval quality is not a UX issue. It is the foundation for every decision that follows. We are publishing our news API benchmarks shortly. Stay tuned.

As we move toward an agent-driven economy, your user isn't always human anymore. Agents now evaluate and integrate products on behalf of the people building with them. An agent comparing two providers doesn't read your homepage. It reads your schema and your docs, then decides whether your product works without a human in the loop. Most websites were built for the opposite: a person lands, looks, decides. Pagespeed, SEO, bounce rate all follow from that. That assumption is breaking. Your website now serves two readers, and so does your product. Agent-friendly and crawlable is becoming table stakes, and more teams are going further: making the whole experience accessible to agents across the site and the product. A human/machine toggle that swaps the page for a clean markdown view is one example, but the broader move is treating agent accessibility as a first-class design goal everywhere, not a feature bolted on in one place. For us, this was never optional. akta.pro is a private markets API-suite for agents and the developers building them, so the spec, the docs, and the site are built for both readers from the ground up: human and agent. More and more products are being built this way. The ones that get there are the ones agents will actually be able to use. Live on akta(dot)pro soon! 19 confirmed C-suite moves across 50 global retailers in the last 90 days. CDO and Chief AI Officer appointments are outpacing COO hires for the first time. Interim CFOs are running simultaneously at multiple majors. Across all 19 events: 14 mandates tied to AI and digital transformation, 11 to brand revival, 9 to cost restructuring, 5 to M&A integration. Retail boards are not filling vacancies. They are repositioning companies for what retail needs to become next. 3 cycles are running simultaneously: PE privatisation pulling pharmacy retail off public markets, M&A consolidation reshaping sporting goods governance, and AI transformation mandates displacing traditional operations leadership. Grocery is the sector to watch. The largest chains in the US and UK are simultaneously in active CEO succession, interim leadership, or ownership transition and the permanent appointments still to come will define grocery strategy for the next decade. 50 retailers tracked over 90 days via akta.pro by Wokelo AI. Defense tech is becoming PE's next institutional entry window. That's a big claim. The data makes it hard to ignore. $14.6B+ deployed in the first 5 months of 2026. Anduril Industries raised at $56B. Saronic Technologies raised $1.75B. Shield AI brought Blackstone onto the cap table through a $250M debt facility. That is the signal. The market has moved past the VC-backed defense startup phase. The winners now need PE-scale capital for factories, shipyards, autonomous manufacturing capacity, space-defense infrastructure, and multi-year government contract execution. Defense tech is moving from product risk to scale-up risk. And scale-up risk is where PE has a real underwriting role. We tracked 20+ companies across 1,000+ news articles. Entity resolution is the least glamorous thing we've built at Akta. It's also the reason most private-company data is quietly wrong It sounds trivial until you look at what actually arrives from the sources. Your agent thinks "Acme, Inc." and "ACME CORPORATION" are two different companies. They're not. They're the same company, fractured across five sources that each spelled it differently: "Acme, Inc." on LinkedIn "Acme Tech" in the company DB "ACME Corp." in SEC EDGAR "acme.io" in the web traffic data "ACME CORPORATION" on the reviews platform Five records. One company. The mistake runs both ways. Miss the match, and one company splinters into five - every signal you attach to Acme lands on a fragment, and your risk score is built on a third of the picture. Force the wrong match, and three different companies trading as "Acme" collapse into one - now you're scoring a ride-hailing startup on a defunct manufacturer's lawsuits. Either way, your enrichment is confidently, invisibly wrong. The agent doesn't flag it. It just hands you a clean-looking answer about the wrong company. This is the wall every private-market data platform eventually hits. Most build around it and hope the gaps don't show. We built through it. For public companies the problem was solved decades ago — tickers, ISINs, LEIs. For private companies, which are most of the economy and almost all of the interesting deal flow, no such standard has ever existed. Our patent-pending entity resolution engine sits beneath every layer of the platform. Each ingested signal resolves to a stable internal identifier across 20M+ companies before any enrichment begins. Five messy records in, one canonical entity out. Rebrands, restructures, post-acquisition name changes don't break it. Everything else in private market intelligence is downstream of this one step. • Thrilled to share that Wokelo was featured in Satya Nadella's keynote at #MSBuild2026 this week. Build made one thing clear: we are moving toward persistent, autonomous agents managing complex enterprise logic. That is where the operational gains will compound over the next few years. That is the world we have been building for. Agentic infra for private markets, designed from the ground up to be agent-friendly and structured for how intelligence gets consumed today. That kind of data layer takes years to get right. We just opened that data layer to developers and builders at akta.pro. More to come!
