Who Gives A Crap

A not-so-nice fact: more than half of schools in developing countries don’t have access to water and sanitation facilities (ie. toilets and hand-washing). And that alone is one of the top barriers to girls getting an education. Clean water and accessible loos are directly linked to economic opportunities and social empowerment for women and girls - not to mention their ongoing health and safety - which is just one reason our mission is to ensure everyone in the world has access to them in our lifetime. We know, providing toilets and clean water isn't a sexy topic. But that's not going to stop us from trying. Because to us, nothing is hotter than ensuring everyone has access to WASH – water, sanitation and hygiene. Unless you're baking a cake at the same time. That would be very *very* sexy. And here's a spicy reminder for you – we donate 50% of profits to WASH organisations all over the world. So every time your cheeky bum uses our toilet paper, you help make a difference. Now that's hot.

This is our very serious, very legitimate billboard in NYC. It reflects who we are and what we love the most: butts. You can see it in person (the sign, not the butts) and grab some free toilet paper! We'll be handing out rolls underneath this weekend - find us opposite the Barclays Centre.

Our customers could have chosen any toilet paper, but they chose one that donates 50% of profits to help build toilets. We can't thank them enough. But we'll try, Love Actually style (minus the creepiness, promise). And just because it's Christmas, we thought we'd share how much they've helped us raise to date.
