Last week, our Restaurant Support employees from across the globe came together to celebrate “Wendy’s Kind of People.” During our annual event, we were proud to celebrate 22 individuals, who exhibited high levels of initiative and dedication and consistently exceeded expectations, as 2024 Employees of the Year! We also recognized Wendy's Restaurant Support and Quality Supply Chain Co-op, Inc. employees that celebrated milestone anniversaries of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 40 years in 2024! Congratulations on your incredible performances and thank you for helping to make Wendy’s a great place to work!

A huge thanks to everyone who bought this year’s Frosty Key Tag and helped us raise more than $11 million to benefit the mission of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. With support from our fans and restaurant teams, we have raised a total of more than $23 million over the last year to help find safe, loving and permanent homes for children waiting in foster care through fundraising programs like “Make A Biggie Difference,” coin canister collection, Boo! Books, and Frosty Key Tags.

Congratulations to Wendy’s franchisee, NX de Mexico, on your new restaurant in Pedro Escobedo, Mexico! At the grand opening, eager fans were entertained by a local mariachi band as they lined up to taste our fresh, famous food. In addition, one lucky fan was awarded free Baconator cheeseburgers for an entire year! Mexico is at the center of the brand’s expansion across Latin America. "I celebrated 25 years with Wendy’s in February! The cool part is that I started my career working as a crew person at 17 years old in Perrysburg, Ohio. In my current role as Director of Build-to-Suit Operations, I help oversee the development of new restaurants and then lead the operations of those restaurants once they open. We’re celebrating a major global growth milestone with the opening of the 500th Wendy’s restaurant in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA) region—bringing our international restaurant count to more than 1,300 across 33 markets.
