BRIDGE’s mission is to help companies build inclusion as a business practice for growth.
About us
Founded in 2022, BRIDGE is a DEI, action-oriented, member-driven 501c6 trade group for the global marketing industry. Our mission is to move the narrative of DEI from philosophy to operationalizing Inclusion as a business practice for growth. Members are comprised of brand marketers, agencies, media platforms and technology companies working at the intersection of DEI, marketing and business. BRIDGE is an acronym for Belonging, Representation, Inclusion, Diversity, the G is for the Growth that results and E is for Equity which is our ultimate goal. We help companies bridge the gaps that have created inequities for historically under-recognized communities in the workplace, workforce, and marketplace. We accomplish this with our revolutionary and proprietary IMAX tool. IMAX, a framework for Inclusion Maturity Assessment and Capability Building, allows brands and companies, for the very first time, to measure their inclusion maturity for their organization across 80+ practices and 5 pillars including organization, marketing management, product development, communications and advocacy. BRIDGE is an inclusive organization that welcomes support and participation from all companies in the global marketing industry, as well as like-minded academics and Inclusion champions. We are stronger together! For more information about BRIDGE, please visit http://www.wearebridge.com or contact us at [email protected].

#DEIinAction | As we move from Black History Month to Women's History Month, we celebrate the criticality of intersectionality—from Ida B. Wells to Kimberlé Crenshaw. For generations, women have fought for rights, ensuring that race, gender, and identity are fully accounted for in the fight for equity. 💜 Ida B. Wells, a fearless journalist and activist, exposed racial and gender injustices at a time when speaking out meant risking everything. She refused to let Black women be sidelined in the suffrage movement, demanding that the fight for equality be truly inclusive. 💜 Kimberlé Crenshaw carries this legacy forward, coining the term “intersectionality” as a framework for understanding how overlapping identities shape oppression and and co-founded the African American Policy Forum. Her work continues to reshape law, policy, and advocacy, ensuring that gender justice includes all women. #DEIinAction calls leaders to move beyond performative efforts and apply intersectionality in ways that create real, lasting change in ways that are good for humanity and simultaneously good for business! 💬 How do you apply intersectionality in your work? Check out the comments for a link to Kimberlé’s thoughts on intersectional erasure in the Trump era. #DEIinAction #IdaBWells #KimberleCrenshaw #WomensHistoryMonth #BlackHistoryMonth #IWD #HeritageMonths #DEI #WeAreStrongerTogether #BRIDGE #WeAreBRIDGE #DiversityEquityInclusion

At the current rate of progress, we won’t achieve full gender parity until 2158 - that’s five generations from now. While women have made strides in leadership, progress remains fragile, particularly for women of color, who continue to face systemic barriers at every level. ⏱️ How can you #AccelerateAction today? - Advocate for policies that drive equity - Sponsor and uplift women in your workplace - Challenge biases and break systemic barriers The future depends on what we do each day! Let’s create a world where women thrive today, not five generations from now. #AccelerateAction #IWD2025 #GenderEqualityNow #WomensHistoryMonth #HeritageMonths #DEI #WeAreStrongerTogether #BRIDGE #WeAreBRIDGE #DiversityEquityInclusion

⏩ In this week's guidance from Project Forward: Despite the intended chaos caused by the issuance of multiple executive orders, it is critical to remember some key facts when reviewing your DEI practices: ▪️ An EO is a directive for how the federal government must act under the law. In and of itself, it does not have the force of law; therefore, EOs can be overturned if they violate federal or constitutional law. ▪️ The power the president holds over federal agencies is vastly different from the power he has over the private sector—which means the private sector should be cautious of capitulating to the politics of the moment and instead do what’s right for their business growth and innovation, both outcomes of a successful DEI practice. ▪️ The Civil Rights Act, and the legal protections it affords, remains unchanged and, therefore, essential for employers to continue to abide by these protections when evolving any part of their DEI practices. ▪️ Discrimination of LGBTQ+ employees remains prohibited under the Civil Rights Act, despite EO 14168's assertion of identity erasure of this community. Notwithstanding the above, we recognize the intentional effort to scare the private sector into abandoning their DEI initiatives is a reality companies are forced to weigh. These are complicated times, and often, each decision presents a potential action from both sides of this issue: those in favor of maintaining the practice and those looking to eradicate it. Our guidance is threefold: 1. Review your company values and be steadfast in allowing those to guide your commitments to the culture you build 2. Partner with your DEI and legal teams to mitigate risk 3. Understand the business opportunity and evolve your DEI practice to meet those objectives
