⚡We’re thrilled to announce that Voltpost has secured grant funding for two groundbreaking projects from the U.S. Joint Office of Energy and Transportation’s Communities Taking Charge Accelerator!
💡 What this means:
With $2.6 million in funding, we’re deploying 75 chargers across the Tri-State region (New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut), making EV charging more convenient and affordable for local communities. This wouldn’t be possible without our amazing partners: Zipcar, Cityfi, INF Associates, Empire Clean Cities, New Jersey Clean Cities Coalition (NJCCC), Capitol Clean Cities of Connecticut, Clean Transportation Coalition - Western Connecticut, and Clean Transportation Communities of Southern CT (Greater New Haven Clean Cities Coalition). 🌟
🌎 But we’re not stopping there!
We’re teaming up with Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) through the City Climate Innovation Challenge to expand EV charging access in underserved communities nationwide. Together, we’ll deploy chargers in Arizona, California, Massachusetts, Maryland, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, and Washington, D.C. 🚗
✨ These wins build on last week’s Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) award to bring Voltpost to Washington, D.C., and represent a major milestone in our mission to decarbonize mobility by democratizing EV charging alongside Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE).
Let’s power the future of transportation, one community at a time! 💚🌍
