Art as a Voice for Change – Movement for Justice For centuries, women in art have been seen primarily as objects, not creators. Today, it’s not aristocrats or clergy deciding what art is seen—it’s capital and algorithms. But the bias remains. 🎨 Susanne Gold illustrations in this presentation have mark the first step in our larger art project that confronts these injustices. Art is not just expression; it’s a tool for change—a way to expose, challenge, and connect. Our art initiative aims to bring together women and organizations to amplify our voices, claim our space, and push back against digital discrimination. 🚀 Visibility is not a coincidence—it’s a choice. Let’s use art and collaboration to create real impact. 💡 Who’s ready to join forces and reshape the narrative? #WomenInArt #VisibilityMatters #ArtForChange #FemaleCreators #DigitalJustice

🚨 International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2025? The Rise of the “Broligarchy” is a Threat! 🚨 As we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we must acknowledge an urgent reality: Women’s presence in STEM is under siege—not in secret, but in broad daylight. The future is being shaped by a small group of powerful men from Silicon Valley and the tech elite, consolidating power and rewriting the rules to serve their own interests. 🔴 What is a Broligarchy? A fusion of “bro” (a term for wealthy, influential men, often in tech and finance) and “oligarchy” (a system where power is concentrated in the hands of a few). The Broligarchy consists of tech billionaires, venture capitalists, and AI moguls who dominate digital infrastructure, social platforms, and even political discourse. Their vision of the future is clear: one where their wealth and influence remain untouched—at the expense of democracy, diversity, and equality. 📌 What does this mean for women in science and tech? ⚠️ AI and algorithms that systematically disadvantage women. ⚠️ A tech industry that erases and excludes women’s contributions. ⚠️ Laws and policies designed to roll back gender equality. ⚠️ A digital space where misogyny and discrimination go unchecked. 🚨 What can we do? The future must not be dictated by a handful of powerful men. We need to demand transparency, accountability, and diversity in AI, research, and decision-making. 💡 Get involved! Support and amplify women in science, tech, and AI. 💡 Join feminist networks that push for equity. 💡 Challenge gender bias in algorithms and data. 💡 Invest in feminist technology and ethical AI initiatives. 🎥 My illustrations are part of a larger art project for Utopiensammlerin e.V. 🎨 Through my work, I aim to expose the threat of the Broligarchy—how tech billionaires wield AI and digital platforms to cement their power and erase diversity. 🔍 Hidden Masters Challenge: Every of my illustration contains a hidden masterpiece from a great artist. Try to spot them in my illustrations! 💥Kristina Sedmak Thomas Gold Tarek Shuieb ❤️ 💜 Who inspires you in STEM? Technology races ahead, people inch forward, and organizations move at a glacial pace—so a Big Bang transformation? Impossible. And yet, everyone dreams of one. Don’t they? Today, our association leads, 💥Kristina Sedmak & Susanne Gold joined the Technology Predictions 2025 event at Forrester Research. And guess what? At a gathering focused on the future of technology, one of the biggest takeaways was the critical role of social sciences. Of course, technology is a powerful force for change—but it’s the people who develop, implement, and adapt it that truly shape the future. That’s why we collect visions and stories from around the globe in our magazine—because understanding the human side of transformation is just as crucial as the technology itself. A huge thanks to Forrester for the fantastic insights and for having us! Pascal Matzke Manuel Podolski 🤗

Who becomes a victim of cybercrime—and why? Cybercrime isn’t just about hackers and scams—it’s also about who is most likely to fall victim. While criminology often focuses on offenders, victimology, a subfield of criminology, examines the characteristics that make certain individuals more vulnerable to crime. In her latest article, Dr. Edith Huber explores victimology in cyberspace, focusing on digital risks and dark field research—cases that never make it into official statistics because they go unreported. Her insights reveal what makes individuals more susceptible to cybercrime and why these cases often remain hidden. A must-read for anyone interested in digital security, criminology, and online risks. 🔗 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/d7djNWHh #Cybercrime #Victimology #Criminology #DarkFieldResearch #Cybersecurity #OnlineSafety #DigitalRisks

In her scientific article, sie delves into the psychology and characteristics of victims in the online world. Building on the criminological concept of Victimology—the study of what makes someone susceptible to harm—she explores how these principles apply to the digital space. Curious to learn more? Stay tuned for her thought-provoking insights, soon to be published in Utopiensammlerin e.V.
