Rural and Tribal Assistance Pilot Program New Date for Application Opening! Portal Opens Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 2 p.m. ET Visit Grants.gov: https://lnkd.in/dN_ZaWm9 The Bureau issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for up to $27 million in no-match grants on a first-come, first-served basis, with applications accepted beginning March 18, 2025, at 2 p.m. ET. CLOSING SOON! USDOT’s Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) program provides grants for surface transportation infrastructure projects with significant local or regional impact. The eligibility requirements of RAISE allow project sponsors, including state and local governments, counties, Tribal governments, transit agencies, and port authorities, to pursue multi-modal and multi-jurisdictional projects that are more difficult to fund through other grant programs. Applications are due no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on January 30, 2025. USDOT is hosting its next Meaningful Public Involvement Training on February 18 at 2:00-4:00 p.m. ET. This is a quarterly virtual training that is based on USDOT's Promising Practices for Meaningful Public Involvement in Transportation Decision-Making. The training provides key considerations, resources, strategies, and approaches for practitioners seeking to establish or improve public involvement techniques.
