UPMC Enterprises portfolio company leaders are pushing the boundaries of possibility for people living with albinism and partial blindness in two unique research initiatives. The work of Dr. Leah Byrne, founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Avista Therapeutics, and Dr. José-Alain Sahel, Founder of Avista Therapeutics, and co-founder of SparingVision, is featured in the 2023-2024 Pitt Research Annual Report.
