Last year, we conducted real-world testing to find out if arc-rated gear tested to protect against alternating current (AC) arcs also protects against direct current (DC) arcs. While our initial results were promising, Tyndale and Kinectrics recruited a coalition of companies in the industry to perform full-scale DC arc research. Our groundbreaking results will be shared at the IEEE IAS Electrical Safety Workshop in Jacksonville, FL on March 7, 2025. Mark your calendars! In the meantime, view our DC-Cember series to learn how to safeguard yourself from DC arcs: https://lnkd.in/eDkKwH3f #ArcFlash #EVs #DCHazard #FRC #FRClothing #FlameResistant
