In collaboration with ICAR-CMFRI, Tvasta has successfully deployed India’s first 3D-printed reef modules in the Gulf of Mannar. Designed to mimic natural reef ecosystems, these biomimetic structures are engineered to support coral growth, enhance marine biodiversity, and contribute to the development of a sustainable blue economy. This project demonstrates how advanced construction technologies can create meaningful environmental impact beyond the built environment. We extend our sincere gratitude to ICAR-CMFRI for this collaboration. [coral reefs, tvasta, 3d concrete printing, ramanathapuram, 3d printed reef in india]

This 3D printed bus shelter for URC highlights how computational design and additive manufacturing can translate a simple concept into a functional public landmark. Located in a town near Erode, the structure transforms the initial “C” of URC Founder Shri. Chinnusamy into a functional landmark. The dynamic angled form is thoughtfully optimized to integrate seating, lighting, and an advertisement board bringing together design, utility, and identity. Printed in just one week and assembled overnight, the project showcases how computational design and 3D construction printing can deliver speed, precision, and distinctive architecture in a single structure.
