About us
The Blue Angels Foundation’s mission is to support wounded veterans. The wounded veterans who proudly volunteered to serve our nation and preserve our freedoms are the same people today who need our time, treasure and talents to provide a path of transition back to the civilian community and a life of dignity and fulfillment. Thanks to you, each year we are expanding our footprint and impact in critical areas facing the wounded veteran and their family through our association with key benefactors around the nation. We have identified and are supporting organizations that assist veterans in key areas: transitional housing, counseling, PTSD resolution, permanent housing, life skills, transportation and employment. By joining hands we can have a huge and positive impact on understanding and resolving PTSD, saving lives and promoting positive transitions for the wounded veteran and their family. Please join with us in these critical needs for our veterans, their families and our nation. We are grateful to Walmart for partnering with Home Base Florida and proud to be part of this effort to support our veterans and military families. Walmart’s generous $20,000 donation will provide 12-session treatment programs for six individuals at the new Outpatient Clinic at Lakeview Center in Pensacola. “Florida is home to approximately 1.5 million veterans, and sadly, one in three veterans struggle with mental health challenges. Walmart is proud to support these two organizations who are providing these essential services.” Bethany McAlister, Public Affairs Director for Walmart in Florida Together, we’re making an incredible impact for those who have given so much. Thank you, Walmart and Home Base Florida, for joining forces with us to bring hope and healing to our heroes!

We are proud to spotlight two remarkable leaders and members of our Foundation family, Chrystal and Mike Campbell. Their lives are a testament to service, dedication, and the power of giving back. Mike, a Naval flight officer, 1987 Blue Angel, and past President of the Blue Angels Foundation, helped shape our mission to support transitioning warriors and their families. Chrystal, one of the first 50 women to graduate from the Naval Academy, served with distinction as a flight instructor and has been a steadfast champion for veterans and military families. In Home Base's recent episode of their podcast, Home Base Nation, Mike reflects on a cherished Blue Angels tradition: The "Oh By The Way". At the end of each debrief, team members share challenges, victories, or personal reflections in a trusted circle of support. This spirit of connection and care inspires our Foundation’s ongoing work to help warriors rebuild their lives with strength and hope. We’re proud to be part of an incredible milestone for veterans and their families in NWFL! After years of planning and with the dedication of our partners Home Base Florida and Lakeview Center, the new outpatient clinic in Pensacola is now open. This launch would not have been possible without the efforts of our donors, community partners, dignitaries, and local legislators who have been committed to this cause from day one. Together, we’re making meaningful strides in improving access to vital care for those who’ve served. (photos from Home Base Florida)

"If there's any doubt, there is no doubt. Pick up the phone, make the call, and you'll see that we are here to support you and we want to help you." - Scott Kartvedt, President of the Blue Angels Foundation. The Blue Angels Foundation is proud to join forces with Lakeview Center and Home Base to bring a new outpatient clinic to Pensacola, offering life-saving mental health services to veterans at no cost. The tragic impact of veteran suicide is felt deeply in our community, with over 6,000 veterans lost to suicide in 2021 alone. Together, we’re providing essential mental health care and resources to ensure no veteran has to face these battles alone. Join us in supporting those who’ve sacrificed for our freedom. https://lnkd.in/gb7kjmrH
