We're just days away from our 20th Heart Mini Mini! 🏃❤️ This morning, Doug Ensinger, Manager of Cardiac Rehabilitation, joined WXIX's Jordan Vilines to share more about this special event, held the Friday before Cincinnati’s Heart Mini. The half marathon consists of walking half the hospital floor and the full walk is the entire floor. During our Annual Heart Mini Mini, heart patients recovering from heart failure and other treatments take a meaningful walk around the heart unit—surrounded by the support and encouragement of our incredible care team. Building connections that strengthen care! Last week, our Physician Relations Team hosted our Montgomery/Red Bank Providers Family Reunion Event, bringing together providers and key leaders from across The Christ Hospital Health Network. This informal mix-and-mingle event fostered meaningful conversations and reinforced the collaborative relationships that help us deliver the best care to our patients. With representation from multiple subspecialties—including Primary Care, Orthopedics, and Women’s Health—alongside executive medical directors, administrative, and operational leaders, it was an incredible evening of networking, collaboration, and connection. We’re looking forward to continuing these opportunities, with our next AOC event set for 4/10 at Green Township. See you there!

Last week, we were proud to host our first-ever Schwartz Rounds, providing a dedicated space for caregivers to share the emotional experiences of caring for patients—celebrating the rewards and acknowledging the challenges that come with this meaningful work. What are Schwartz Rounds? These multidisciplinary forums invite all healthcare workers to explore the social and emotional aspects of patient care while also earning CRE credit. A special thank you to our facilitators, Dr. Sandy Hans & Dr. Marie Rueve, for guiding the conversation with compassion, and to our courageous storytellers—Dr. Mike Jennings, Patrick Kokotek, Lewis Vanessa, and Kelsey Biller Young, PT, DPT—for sharing their experiences in such an authentic and powerful way. With 75+ team members in attendance, this was an incredible first step in creating a platform for storytelling, healing, and wellness within our organization. We look forward to hosting 3 more sessions this year and continuing these conversations and supporting those who give so much to our patients and our community.
