“I haven’t been to an active job site in months, and that’s a good thing.” 🛠️ David, founder of DayBrook Kitchen & Baths, runs a fast-growing remodeling company in Baltimore. Like many construction business owners, he started with a pickup truck, a few guys, and a brain full of project details. But as the business grew, so did the complexity and the chaos. 📞 Endless calls. 📄 Outdated Word docs. 🔁 Miscommunications between field and office. 🛑 Delays from missing materials and last-minute change orders. That’s when DayBrook turned to TeamGantt. Here’s what changed: ✅ Centralized collaboration: Everyone works from the same project data, in real time. ✅ Clear task ownership: Admins, crews, and subs know what to do and when. ✅ Material planning built into the schedule: No more surprise delays. ✅ Daily progress updates, photos, and communication, all in one place. ✅ 30% revenue growth in just six months. “TeamGantt didn’t just help us organize—we’ve scaled, hired new team members, and finally built a system where I can manage jobs without living on the phone.” 🔗 Watch the full story → https://lnkd.in/ePyhXVtB #CustomerStory #ConstructionManagement #Remodeling #ProjectPlanning #TeamGantt #FieldOps #DayBrookKitchenAndBaths #ConstructionGrowth

We make project management software that helps teams work better together.
About us
TeamGantt is a project management software company that specializes in simple and intuitive gantt chart tools for project planning and collaboration. Founded in 2009 by John Correlli and Nathan Gilmore in Baltimore, Maryland, TeamGantt was created with a single purpose in mind: to bring calm and clarity to teams who work together. TeamGantt was originally founded in 2009 by John Correlli and Nathan Gilmore under the name Groundbreaking Designs LLC. At the time, John and Nathan were both developing software for a large roofing contractor in Baltimore, Maryland. They searched high and low for a good way to schedule and collaborate on projects online but couldn't find a solution that did both well. They decided to tackle the challenge of building their own gantt chart software on nights and weekends. After seeing their software’s potential, John and Nathan released an early version for other companies to try. It turns out, they weren’t the only ones who needed a better way to manage projects! The first public release of TeamGantt officially launched in November 2010, and John and Nathan had their first customer within a few hours. TeamGantt quickly took off, attracting big-name customers like Twitter, Expedia, and Turner Broadcasting in just the first year. After the successful launch of TeamGantt, Groundbreaking Designs LLC rebranded to match its flagship product. Now, our company and software platform are both known as TeamGantt.

The Weekly 5-Point Review That Keeps Projects Moving 🛠️📅 Construction projects don’t go off track all at once, it happens in small, preventable ways. That’s why weekly check-ins are so critical. We put together a simple 5-point review that helps teams spot issues early, align field and office teams, and keep the schedule tight. Here’s how it works: 1. Progress Updates Has each crew submitted progress notes, percent complete, or jobsite photos? Start every review with a clear picture of where things stand. 2. Roadblocks Any stalled or delayed tasks? Who’s responsible for clearing them? This keeps accountability clear and momentum going. 3. Critical Path Are critical tasks slipping? If so, what’s the risk to your overall timeline? Prioritize anything that could delay project completion. 4. Look-Ahead Schedule Is your short-term (3–6 week) plan still realistic? Make sure it reflects what’s really happening on the ground, not just what’s on paper. 5. Baseline vs Actual What’s changed since the original plan? Compare baseline to actual progress to see what shifted, and why. 💡 Run through these five questions weekly, and you’ll catch slowdowns before they escalate into bigger problems. 🔗 Want to put this into action? TeamGantt makes this kind of structured check-in simple and visual. Learn more: teamgantt.com #ConstructionManagement #FieldOps #ProjectPlanning #TeamGantt #JobsiteExecution #SchedulingTools

How a Student-Led Self-Driving Car Team Keeps 50+ Members Aligned with TeamGantt 🚗 📊 Meet aUToronto — the University of Toronto's only student-led self-driving car team. Since 2016, this group of innovators has been building a Level 4 autonomous vehicle capable of navigating real urban environments by 2025. After dominating the GM/SAE AutoDrive Challenge I with four consecutive wins, they’re now competing in Round II—this time with a modified Chevrolet Bolt EUV, custom hardware, and proprietary autonomous software. But building a self-driving car isn’t just a technical challenge. It’s a massive coordination effort. 🤝 With over 70 team members across engineering, software, business, and marketing, aUToronto needed a tool that could handle complex planning across sub-teams—and that’s where TeamGantt comes in. “TeamGantt’s visual interface lets us track progress, set deadlines, and coordinate across all departments. With so many moving parts, it's been essential to keep everyone aligned—especially with project management being part of our competition’s final evaluation.” As they race toward their next major competition in June, we’re proud to play a "major role" in helping this next generation of engineers, leaders, and innovators stay organized and on track. 📅 Real deadlines. 🔁 Real collaboration. ⚙️ Real-world impact. Let’s build the future—together. #ProjectManagement #TeamGantt #CaseStudy #AutonomousVehicles #STEM #StudentInnovation #aUToronto

What Is a Gantt Chart—and Why Do So Many Project Managers Rely on It? 📊 A Gantt chart is a visual project planning tool that maps tasks across a timeline. It shows: ✔️ What needs to be done ✔️ Who’s doing it ✔️ When it’s happening ✔️ How tasks relate to one another In other words, it gives you the full picture—start to finish—so your team stays aligned, on track, and ahead of delays. Unlike a basic task list, a Gantt chart lets you: - See overlapping tasks and dependencies - Adjust schedules in real time - Spot risks before they become problems 👉 And this is where TeamGantt comes in. TeamGantt makes creating, adjusting, and collaborating on Gantt charts easy, even if you’re not a project manager by title. It’s simple, flexible, and built for teams who want clarity in both easy and complex projects. 🎯 If you’re managing projects, schedules, or people... a Gantt chart might just be the tool you didn’t know you needed.
