This week, we had the privilege of visiting the US Capitol alongside the Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) to engage with Senators and Congress members in over 130 bipartisan meetings aimed at championing the needs of farmers and agricultural retailers. Our discussions centered on crucial initiatives, including advocating for the timely passage of a new farm bill, bolstering safety nets such as Crop Insurance, and promoting consistency in pesticide labeling. We also addressed the need for streamlining Technical Service Provider certification and continued support for vital USDA programs like EQIP and CSP.
