Congratulations to Courtney Jarrell, our Lease Administration Manager, who was recently honored as a Certified Professional in Commercial Real Estate by NAIOP at their Annual Meeting & Holiday Soirée at View Boston! This is a special and voluntary certification as part of a NAIOP program designed for commercial real estate professionals who are looking to advance their careers. The program, offered through NAIOP Massachusetts University, requires participants to complete multiple courses to receive their certification. Throughout the process, Courtney not only expanded her knowledge of the commercial real estate industry but was also able to network with peers and make lifelong connections, such as Tamara Small, CEO of NAIOP Massachusetts. It was also great to see Kristin Blount, EVP at Colliers, and Marianne Ajemian, Chair of the Real Estate Department at Nutter, who recently moderated at the 2024 NAIOP Women of Influence Luncheon. This role would be responsible for assisting with pre-construction planning, on-site direction and documentation, and close out activities. David Greaney, our founder & CEO, was recently back in Ireland, giving back to his alma mater and community. David and his family returned to Thomond Community College in Limerick, attending the annual Greaney Family Bursary Awards, where 26 students in the program were recognized for their academic achievements. The Greaney Family Scholarship, which David and family founded in 2016, supports students all the way from 1st Year through 6th Year. During the awards, David acknowledged the impact the school had on him before he attended University College Dublin and then moved to Boston. “A great education opens up so many doors and provides opportunities that many people don’t have. I wanted to give back to this great school that gave me so much and recognize academic success and effort across all year groups. It’s been a privilege to see the impact these awards have had over the past seven years," David said. The students who have been awarded the scholarship also spoke about that impact. “The Greaney Family Scholarship has not only supported my college fees but also motivated me to strive for excellence. It has opened up many doors for me, and I look forward to a future in clinical psychology, thanks to the foundation it has helped provide," stated Aimee Aherne, who is now in her 2nd Year at University of Limerick.
