Silicon Valley is broken - and here’s how to fix it:
Many founders have asked me privately for help because they feel depressed and in the worst shape of their life.
Yet, almost no one does it in public
Why?
They claim that they're afraid of being a cry-baby or of their investors thinking they aren't working hard enough.
Yet, companies led by executives who prioritize strength training outperformed the S&P 500 by 2.4x over the last four years. (I'd love to see stats on early-stage companies!)
We believe that peak performance comes with peak health, so we hosted over 300 executives and VCs in SF to discuss championing founder health to bring The Founder Health Coalition to life (www.founderhealth.com by superpower.com)
The energy in the room was electric.
Beyond the DEXA scans, sound healing, breath work, and longevity drinks & food, the highlight were the conversations.
Biohacking-legend Ben Greenfield and Superpower Chief Longevity Officer Anant Vinjamoori, MD shared powerful advice:
1. Copying health stacks from your favorite health influencer is a shot in the dark. Only through a data-driven testing approach you'll be able to prevent optimize your health effectively.
2. Improve your team's health through red-light saunas in the office, standing desks, a monthly PTO-day for personal improvement ("growth day"), and through creating a slack channel dedicated to sharing health tips.
3. Peptide therapy will emerge as the next frontier of individual health within the next 4-5 years.
I get it - we're all for working really, really hard - but you can work much better when you prioritize your health.
Cheers ✌️
