A lot of you have been wondering what’s up with Statsig and Amplitude. For the past six weeks, I’ve been leading a team of ~50 Ampliteers bringing Statsig into the Amplitude family. We’ve been learning. We’ve been maintaining the platform. We’ve been planning its future. And we’ve been shipping. From the initial May announcement to now has been Phase 0 of the integration. Excited to share about something I've been working closely for Statsig. As MCP adoption picks up, governance is becoming the real conversation. It's pivoting from "can an agent do this?" to "how can I control what my agent can do?". At Statsig, we took a lighter approach: rather than adding a whole separate control plane, we rely on the access controls already built into the platform, with just a few lightweight knobs on top. The piece walks through the full governance model: RBAC, audit trails, the org-wide read-only switch, and what's coming next.
