On the anniversary of Obergefell v. Hodges, we celebrate a decade of progress in uplifting our LGBTQ+ community. No matter who you love or how you identify, our Administration remains steadfast in our commitment to build a stronger, more inclusive New Jersey. 🏳️🌈

Today marks three years since the Supreme Court's disastrous decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. We must always defend reproductive freedom. The Garden State will continue to protect a woman's right to plan her future on her own terms.

Over the past seven years, our #NurtureNJ initiative has made significant progress in preventing adverse health outcomes for moms and babies. New Jersey improved nationally from 47th to 28th for maternal mortality rates and has become the 2nd best state for infant mortality. Programs like Family Connects NJ, the nation’s most robust universal nurse home visitation program, are saving lives by providing critical care and expertise to moms and babies like Meliza and Liam. With thousands of families served to date through the program, we are making New Jersey the safest and most equitable state in the nation to deliver and raise a baby.

Five years ago, we restored the right to vote to 83,000 New Jerseyans on probation or parole. Strengthening voting rights and allowing more people to fully participate in our democracy is a legacy we can all be proud of.
