Felipe, Miles and the team Sparta have been quietly building one of the most inspiring adventures of European tech. Initially started as a bootstrapped project to build the tool they would have loved to have as traders, Sparta is now moving forward on its journey to become the next-gen AI-driven trading platform. What a pleasure to have David Klein and One Peak be part of the journey as they lead this $42m round. Excited to continue partnering with Matt Turck and FirstMark for what's to come. Here's to even more success ahead! https://lnkd.in/dMZDE6xr

  • Recent years have seen a sharp rise in product recalls and contamination incidents across the FMCG industry, costing companies billions in damages, fines and lost trust. The pressure to innovate and enhance quality control has never been greater. Enter Spore.Bio: a game-changer in microbiological detection, originally developed for the Food & Beverage sector and now reshaping pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Their AI-driven technology identifies bacteria in seconds—leaving the traditional 5-day process behind and setting new standards for speed, precision and scalability across industries. Huge congratulations to Amine Raji, Maxime Mistretta, PhD. and Mohamed Tazi for turning cutting-edge science into real-world impact at speed. We’re proud to be part of this journey, partnering with Point72 Ventures, 1st Kind, STATION F and LocalGlobe and are confident Spore.bio will lead the way in the future of integrated testing solutions. ➡️ https://l.lepoint.fr/oFb Yassine Tahi Kinetix Fanny Jaulin, PhD Orakl Oncology Caroline Robert Ribonexus Antoine Bordes Helsing Ené Leppik Agriodor Héloïse Pons Grallet Guillaume Etienne Gernelle valérie toranian Sophie Gournay Thomas Valognes #PalmarèsDesInventeurs #Innovation #Science

    Co-founder & Co-CEO at moka.care - Let’s make your teams’ mental health your company's strength

Powering industries through second-generation materials | Founder & CEO of @fairmat_tech

Last week, standing on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower for Fairmat's 2025 Keynote Beyond Materials was a deeply emotional moment. It was a celebration of a dream: the dream of building a deeptech company that could scale and truly make a difference. Four years ago, this was just an idea. Today, it’s a reality thanks to the relentless dedication of the Fairmatters. Watching Frederic Oudeville from Decathlon , Edouard Rouzier from Bauer Hockey and Thomas Laakso from DPS Skis share their vision, showing how Fairmat’s technology has the power to transform industries, the incredible energy of the night : all of this was a powerful reminder of why we started Fairmat. Together, we’ve proven that sustainable innovation can scale, and this event marked not only the culmination of four years of hard work but also the beginning of a brighter future. What we unveiled—from enhanced smart factories to FairPly and Infinite Recycling—represents countless breakthroughs by our team. More than just technology, it’s a testament to what’s possible when innovation meets purpose. Full story coming soon. Stay tuned!

As discussions at Davos help define priorities for the year, three themes stand out: safeguarding the planet, advancing industries in the intelligent age, and reimagining growth. 🎥 Watch Now: In this insightful World Economic Forum video, André Hoffmann—author of "The New Nature of Business," Vice-Chairman of Roche’s Board of Directors, and an investor in Basecamp Research—explores the critical need to value biodiversity as an asset class. 🧬 Driving AI Innovation with Biodiversity: Basecamp Research has built a global network of biodiversity partnerships in order to train the next generation of AI to understand nature’s complexity. Co-founder Oliver Vince is in Davos to share insights on how biodiversity partnerships are paving the way for transformative solutions. 📊 Our Impact So Far: - Collaborating with communities and organisations in 25+ countries. - Paying royalties on revenue to 37 groups in 13 countries in 2024—exceeding the "Cali Fund" standards set at the UN Biodiversity talks. - Demonstrating a new economic model that turns nature’s data into a valuable asset for innovation. 💡 Why It Matters: By harnessing biodiversity data, we empower AI to design better medicines and unlock nature’s potential to solve humanity’s most pressing challenges. 📅 Meet Us at Davos: Join Oliver Vince at the "Accelerating Business Solutions for Nature" panel on January 22.
