Four days in Cannes for Datacloud - a techoraco brand Global Congress left our team with some incredible insights and, above all, a clear picture of where digital infrastructure is heading. The real magic of this event was in the organic, high-level conversations and networking sessions. It’s clear that the speed of innovation in the data center boom is rewriting the rules daily. Walking the floor and meeting with senior decision-makers and global hyperscalers, a few major themes kept coming up. While accelerated #AI demand is forcing faster hardware refresh cycles and tightening procurement supply chains, severe power constraints are shifting a massive wave of attention toward edge infrastructure and modular data centers as a faster route to scale. The conversation around energy has evolved so rapidly that even alternative sectors like nuclear power are becoming mainstream topics. At the same time, the industry is balancing these tech breakthroughs with very real macro challenges, particularly a massive talent shortage in electrical and construction fields, and the public perception pressures that come with rapid expansion. For us, the biggest takeaway is that a solid lifecycle and circular economy strategy is no longer a secondary discussion; it is now absolutely core to infrastructure planning.
