#theCUBE sits down with Cisco to explore the future of AI and infrastructure! 📡 Live NOW! theCUBE.net At #MWC25, #theCUBE's David Vellante and Bob Laliberte caught up with Jeetu Patel, EVP & Chief Product Officer at Cisco, to discuss the new developments in their technology and how they are remaining adaptable to new developments in the ecosystem such as AI. “Generative AI has been a massive catalyst for us. Let me walk you through our approach to AI. First, we power the infrastructure for AI. When it comes to training infrastructure—think GPUs, intra-GPU communication requiring low latency, high performance, and exceptional power efficiency—we’re a major provider, and we’re committed to staying at the forefront. Looking ahead, I believe there will only be two types of companies: those that skillfully leverage AI and those that struggle to remain relevant,” says Patel “Customers face three key challenges. First, they need simple infrastructure. Second, they’re concerned about safety and security, which can slow adoption. Third, they often lack the right skills. We address all three in a big way. On the safety and security front, we recently launched a product on January 15 called AI Defense—a seamless safety and security layer that works across any model or agent, “ he adds. 🔊 Don’t miss the exclusive insights from #MWC25! https://lnkd.in/d4bs5ccx #Marketinsights #TechInnovation #AIsafety #AIsecurity

Providing AI democratization to data scientists via open source 🤖 Join Now! theCUBE.net Exclusive from #MWC25 Barcelona! #theCUBE’s David Vellante and Savannah Peterson spoke with Sri Satish Ambati, founder and CEO of H2O.ai, about the company’s approach to leveraging open source to offer AI democratization to millions of data scientists. “Open source is one of the best ways to build community. We chose open source when TensorFlow and PyTorch were closed. That spurred the whole grassroots movement in AI and brought ubiquity to our space. So, anytime you have a high concentration of tokens, models, or technology, open source democratizes that across the whole planet. We saw that with DeepSeek AI, which disrupted that,” Ambati shares. “Our customers like to take our software stack, make it theirs, and become AI superpowers. So, if we want multipolar maximal AI ownership globally, it happens through democratization with open source. H2O has been at the front runner of that. We have 20,000 data scientists using our product and 2 million data scientists depend on us every day. We helped out a very large beverage company pick up 6% margin in a city with one year of good data science and gen AI,” he adds. 🚨 Tune in for more exclusive insights from #MWC25! https://lnkd.in/d4bs5ccx #MobileWorldCongress #AI

Live from #MWC25! 🚨 Discussing Broadcom’s work in the edge AI space theCUBE.net #theCUBE’s David Vellante and Savannah Peterson sit down with Vijay Nagarajan, VP of strategy & marketing at the Semiconductor Solutions Group, Broadcom, to discuss the company’s current and future strategies to modernize the edge space. “We do have an interesting play in the edge, and it comes from our Broadband Access offerings. We announced, together with Comcast and Charter Communications, that we’re developing the first Unified DOCSIS chipsets for network nodes with AI/ML capabilities. It has a neural engine that’s capable of supporting a lot of AI use cases in your home. Think of your Broadcom gateway as your edge device in your home,” Nagarajan shares. “From an edge perspective, we have made sure that the access network has neural capabilities. With our DOCSIS 4.0, we have integrated neural engines in smart amps and nodes. Or you take our 50G PON devices, which have integrated neural engines on the two sides of the length OLTs and ONUs. It can offer network and power management capabilities to the operators. Edge is not just about the phone; it’s everything compute that happens outside the data center, he adds. 💡 Get more insights! https://lnkd.in/d4bs5ccx #AIedge
