We're seeing an increase in potential LinkedIn scams in recent weeks, and therefore ask that you report any account contacting you that seems to be a Sci.bio recruiter but asks for your social security number/other highly personal information, and/or attempts to connect with you through WhatsApp. Our recruiters would never ask for this information, and we do not use WhatsApp to connect with clients or candidates. Thank you for remaining vigilant about this!

In 2024, companies spent more than $350 billion globally on employee training and development. Given this level of monetary investment, not to mention the time spent finding and onboarding the right candidate, it's crucial to find the right fit on the first attempt. But between relying on in-house HR and bringing in third-party search firms, which predictably yields the best results? Check out our new article, written by Lois Anzelowitz Levine, for an exploration of internal and external recruitment strategies, and why a hybrid approach is often most effective: https://loom.ly/Le165fw #HR #Recruitment #Hiring #TheBioHireJournal

A recent article published by SciTechDaily explores the novel use of light in revealing unique vibrations of viruses, spearheaded by Elad Harel's laboratory at Michigan State University. This discovery opens doors which may allow researchers to speed up the viral development process and watch the life cycle from beginning to end, which can help us better understand where antivirals interfere with that process. Martha N., one of our Senior Recruiting Associates, comments on this development: "Fascinating! The continuous research that is done to constantly bring new ideas and techniques to light is what makes the scientific community a place of innovation. We're now at the forefront of being able to observe, in real time, the unique vibrational signatures of viruses and other biological systems. This use of BioSonic spectroscopy could further deepen our understanding of how viruses function and assist researchers in developing groundbreaking treatments. To think that this idea or thought started off by being 'far-out'!"
