Shaping the future requires many perspectives! 💬 This fall, IN/LAB - Schibsted Media’s and Tinius Trust’s joint innovation lab focused on inclusion - hosted a new round of Futures Forum in Stockholm! It gathers young adults and media professionals to discuss desirable futures for the news media, this time on the topic of trust.Participants shared their thoughts on prototypes on possible futures and on how news media can evolve. Here is what we learned from the young participants in the group: 📍Trust in Proximity and Expertise - Firsthand, on-the-ground experience and no hidden motives make sources feel credible and trustworthy. 🤖Human Intuition vs AI Judgement - Mixing AI’s analytical power with human intuition could strengthen news credibility, but there is a risk of over-relying on biassed human instincts. 🔍Transparency Calms Misinformation Concerns - Unverified news risks the spread of misinformation, and we therefore need more transparency about information certainty. 🎯Tailored Complexity Makes News Accessible - News that adapts to your knowledge feels less repetitive and easier to follow. 🔧Direct Line to Your Algorithm - Algorithms provide personal relevance, but there is a desire for more control over them to shape your own news feed. 🌟Personalisation Evolved: News That Challenges You - Attractive, personalised news is understood as tailored content that still pushes you out of your comfort zone. A big thanks to all participants for their energy and insights! Check out the video from the sessions below and read more about the learnings on IN/LAB’s website: https://lnkd.in/dSeZxXDW #innovation #trust #IN/LAB #future #journalism #newsmedia

👋 Meet Jovana, a Product Manager at Schibsted Marketplaces who’s been with FINN.no – mulighetenes marked for five years. Starting as a market analyst, she is now the PM of the Recruiter Success team, and her passion for teamwork is at the heart of what she does. Let’s get to know her a little better! 💬 So, Jovana, what’s your role like? As a Product Manager, I’m the team’s advocate, which means lots of meetings and collaboration! I talk to many people each day, but my favourites are my teammates, our users and sales teams. Recently, I’ve also been carving out some focus-time to think, write, and crunch numbers—it’s a nice balance to all the meetings. 💬 What’s a typical day at Schibsted Marketplaces like for you? Lots of conversations! Whether it’s brainstorming, planning or user feedback, there’s always something going on. When our team comes together to solve user problems, that’s when I’m the happiest. 🎉 💬 What do you love most about working here? The people! I am lucky to get to work with such a dedicated, knowledgeable, funny and caring gang. 💬 Tell us a little about yourself outside of work! I’m originally from Serbia but have been living in Norway for 12 years. Outside of work, you’ll often find me hanging out with my two-year-old son. Luckily, being with him is my favourite thing to do! 💬 When you were a kid, what did you want to be? When I was little, I wanted to be either an astronaut or an archaeologist, because both made exciting discoveries and started with the letter “a” (kid logic). 💬 If you could automate one thing in your life, what would it be? Dressing my toddler! He and I both agree that we should automate this task, so It’s definitely on our roadmap! #schibstedmarketplaces #finn
