We are so pleased to share with you our second Employee of the Year for 2024, George Mills, EVS Technician, Environmental Services: George is described as having an amazing personality and exceptional customer services skills. George is supportive, and always quick to offer encouragement and his appreciation of his colleagues who are involved in patient care. George greets everyone by name, and he routinely checks in with his coworkers. Many share stories of the “George Pep Talk” they received, or when George did something kind for them, or cheered them up on a bad day. His outgoing and uplifting personality makes him a joy to be around. Congratulations to George and Keith for being nominated by their peers for the 2024 Employee of the Year award. We are lucky to have you both!

This week, we want to recognize the two individuals chosen as the 2024 Employees of the Year. This award is given to employees who make a significant difference at RRMC and live our values every day. First up, we are so pleased to recognize Keith Demers, Electrician, Maintenance and Engineering: Keith was awarded Employee of the Year for demonstrating our core values daily with consistency. He is noted as a great teacher and always very willing to share his knowledge of the hospital facility. Keith has a positive attitude; he is professional and regularly demonstrates how much he cares about safety. Keith meets challenges head on, often with a joke along the way. Keith is very dedicated and goes above and beyond to ensure a job well done. Congratulations, Keith!
