  • Here's the problem costing AI / SaaS companies from getting more customers Every SINGLE time I'm looking at a new AI tool, I have the same unanswered objection How is this different from what I can do in ChatGPT? Especially when you're savvy with AI, why would you buy something if you could do it in GPT If I had an AI SaaS tool (which is coming btw) I would have very clear messaging and an FAQ "Is this different than what I could make in chatGPT?" Now 1 or 2 yrs ago this wouldn't have mattered But now as people become more savvy with using AI, You have to make this clear. And be honest with yourself If your tool can be re-created in GPT, by someone who knows what they're doing Your business has a short shelf life. If I was competing with OpenAI... I would only do it if I had -Unique IP/Proprietary data or processes -A highly specific solution for a particular niche (Which is what I'm doing for our cold email copywriting and campaign tool we're building, shhhh don't tell anyone) If you don't have those, that's okay. You just need to raise more money than OpenAI lol There's a lot of AI startups and SaaS tools adopting AI It's cool There's a lot of opportunity Easy part is starting Hard part is making something that'll last I would be so nervous if I had an AI tool that was copy-able, that one Open AI update would crush me. Now If you do have something unique COMMUNICATE IT! 🙂 Messaging and positioning is more important than ever in a crowded space I saw an incredible AI tool at a mastermind But after listening to a 30 min presentation I still did not know how it was different then ChatGPT Whether you're building a tech company, or something else Messaging is king It doesn't matter if your offer is valuable It has to be PERCEIVED as valuable. Rant over. Well one more thing I was thinking to do something fun I've never done before Offer a 1:1 messaging/positioning development workshop ⛏️ I've consulted on at least 500-1000+ offers/niches in B2B I can look at your offer and business and spot what needs to change, so you can -Get more leads -Get leads to convert -Get more people to buy on sales calls Never offered this as a stand alone workshop But I know it'd be valuable! Because lemme ask you this When was the last time you bought something, without reading or hearing words? Never in your life! Messaging is king If I offered a 1:1 workshop to solve your messaging and offer problems To make the rest of your marketing and sales easier Would that be of interest? Let me know and I may put something together! Comment/DM me "messaging". Here's 2 last pro tips 1 - Find 10 competitors, analyze their websites/funnels/value props. Extract that into GPT What do you like? What do you not like? 2 - GPT for research. Great tool to help audit your messaging and make it better, if you prompt it right LMK if there's any interest in a workshop for this, comment "Messaging"

  • BAM - this is what Cold Email done right gets you - here's how to replicate it. There are only 5 things you need, to fill your calendar with quality sales calls from outreach. This client was an SEO agency (competitive niche) and booked 8-10 appointments daily ...200 appts a month Now I failed calculus in High School, but I can still do this math: If you're running ads, a $300 cost-per-call would be GOOD for B2B. So you would spend $60k to produce what this email campaign did Or maybe $ 40k if you got your cost-per-call to $200 But no, this business only paid ~$1200 a month in tech expenses To do what would have cost $40-60k in ads That's freaking insane. Ludacris, even Now not every campaign books 100s of meetings per month And this one had REALLY low results for the first few months But after a year of tweaking, they blew it up and 4X'd their MRR. 💣 OK AJ enough fluff, tell me the 5 things I need to make cold outreach work! When we audit a campaign, we look at 5 things Deliverability Targeting Messaging Offer Volume Targeting/Messaging/Offer = how good your campaign is Deliverability/Volume = reach. A good campaign sending 100 emails a day, or having crap deliverability, won't do much If you're hiring an agency, they should give you a plan for all 5. If you're doing it yourself and not getting results... ALL you need to do is go 1 by 1 and optimize these 5 things. The data will tell you which needs attention. This is why we love Instantly.ai - the analytics make it so easy to figure out how to scale campaigns. Here's a few pro tips ⚡DELIVERABILITY -Send 25 emails a day max per inbox, scale by getting more inboxes -No links, HTML, images, or videos in your copy -Use AI to customize each email, so that you're sending out unique content. Clay rocks at this. ⚡VOLUME -Just send more lmao. Start small, ramp up as long as deliverability is good. -At scale this becomes more of a technical/list building/process game. -If you exhaust your TAM, find adjacent niches, and reycle your list in 6 months. ⚡COPY -Max 5 sentences. 80% of emails are read on mobile. -Make it feel like a 1:1 email -Stop selling so hard. Ask a question or give a lead magnet ⚡TARGETING -Identify your best client; the more specific the better "Series A B2B SaaS without a CMO" -Databases like Instantly give you great lists, then tools like Clay can enrich further -Test different job titles and company types ⚡OFFER -BAV = Big Ass Value. What can you give away? -Market sophistication = if you're in a competitive space, focus on USP or an epic lead magnet -Test offers ...There ya have it. Now -pick 3 things to execute Or If you just want to hire a pro to do this for you, or teach you 💯 We're taking 3 more DFY clients in Feb Then none in March, we're about to have a waitlist for a lil while. Comment "1" or dm me. I'll send a 1 pager that explains how we can help. Or comment "Free," and I'll send a free course on setting this up in Instantly Happy Emailing!

  • 1 simple business hack that will 3-5x our growth in 2025. (And will do the same for you - plus it's somewhat easy to implement) I just got back from bouncing between the U.S., Europe, and Vietnam—family time, business masterminds, and a little fun in Spain and Italy. And I had a BIG realization. A shift that will change everything for me in 2025. Here it is: Other people will determine your success. (Bear with me.) I don’t mean you’re not in control of your own destiny. I mean—your next big win will come from a WHO, not a HOW. 🚀 One hire... 🚀 One partner... 🚀 One conversation that sparks a million-dollar idea... Like Dan Sullivan says: “Focus on WHO, not HOW.” Find the WHOs. (If only WHO-ville from The Grinch was a real place, right?) A quick story... Last month, I was on a cruise with 40 entrepreneurs at Anik Singal’s Board of Experts Mastermind. One thing Anik said made the entire trip worth it: "All of my biggest growth periods had NOTHING to do with my knowledge or skills... it was always WHO I knew." Means a lot coming from someone who built a 40M company! Example? He partnered with Robert Kiyosaki, got access to his audience, and BOOM—huge growth. That got me thinking... Of course, you need skills and knowledge. But that’s only 10% of the game. The real game? Finding and recruiting WHOs. 💡 Want to build an audience? Find a WHO who already has one. 💡 Want to start a business? Partner with a WHO who has deep connections. 💡 Want to land a big opportunity? Connect with a WHO who can open doors. One quick story of how this played out for me. ➡️ I emailed a YouTuber with millions subs to be on his show. ➡️ That WHO said yes. ➡️ That led to $300K+ in revenue. ➡️ Then, another WHO saw that invited me to a big speaking gig. ➡️ I spoke there. More revenue. ➡️ That led to Foundr reaching out to co-create a course. ➡️ More revenue. And a free trip to Australia to hang with awesome people. ➡️ That brand association gave me credibility to connect with bigger, whos ➡️ Plus I got some mentoring from the founder (another who) See the pattern? The takeaway: Before you ask HOW to do something… Ask WHO can do it better, and how can I connect with them? Because sometimes, it takes 60 seconds to find the right WHO... Or you can spend months, years, even decades figuring it out yourself. And here’s the best part— When you adopt WHO thinking instead of HOW thinking... 📌 You think bigger. 📌 You don’t shut down good ideas. 📌 You realize nothing is out of reach 📌 Rather than thinking "Ah I can't do that idea, I don't have time/resources/blah blah" 📌 Instead you just think WHO is the missing piece. How about you? 👉 WHO is the one person you need to meet this year to unlock your next level? And if you need a WHO to help scale your business and handle cold email lead gen this year... I may know a guy 🙂  - #b2bmarketing #leadgeneration #coldemail #agencyowner

  • Want more clients? Keep it simple and master 1 thing. 🥷 You're better off getting really good at 1 thing, than trying 20. A mile deep and an inch wide If all you did was spend 2 hrs a day mastering 1 marketing channel For 1 year... It would be hard to suck at it You'd be in the top 1% just from that! Sounds simple yet nobody does it... In a world of constant distractions and opportunities → Focus is a super power And if you're just getting started, trying to figure out what the 1 channel is you should focus on If you're B2B, do cold email. It's simpler & has fewer moving parts than inbound or paid ad funnels. So you'll get competent at it faster. Plus it's super cost-effective This is our strategy and is the same one we do for our clients. → Make money with cold email first → funnel that into inbound and paid ads later If you don't know where to start... I created a 5-day course, Completely for free 🙂 Comment "OUTREACH" and I'll send it to ya Or if you want my team to do this for you, my DM's are always open! - #b2bmarketing #leadgeneration #coldemail #agencyowner

  • 🤳 My top 5 favorite SaaS tools for outreach + B2B sales Some of these are new, and you may not have heard of them; some have been around for a bit. I get asked this question a LOT - "What's the best tool for XYZ" so I figured I'd just make a post. After all, it's hard to find the best SaaS tool. Regardless of if you're looking for CRM, outreach, data, social media, funnels... There's a million options and most tools seem to do 90% of the same stuff. It's like walking into a restaurant that has 300+ menu options. Stressful.... The paradox of choice makes it harder to decide! I constantly try new tools to know what's the best to use for myself or recommend to our clients. Here's my top 5 Clay - this one you've probably seen me post about nonstop! They were just predicted by Forbes to be the next billion-dollar startup. 💰 What it does: → Helps you scale cold outreach → Saves tons of time by connecting all different outreach tools in one place, and automating everything → Supercharges your whole workflow with AI, allowing you to personalize messages at scale → Access 75+ different databases in one place, making it easier to use intent data and signals to build badass lists. 💰 Pricing Free to $800 a month and beyond for Enterprise folk - this one is the newest one we've found and tried, and it's super cool! 💰 What it does: → The simplest CRM I've seen, also acts as a CRM for LinkedIn. LinkedIn makes it hard to prospect and organize contacts natively → Other cool stuff to make prospecting faster, like export people who engage with posts, enrich via email, and 1-click add to a CRM or sequence → Enrich emails and add to a sequence 💰 Pricing $25 to $100, and the free version does a lot too Findymail - Our secret weapon for contact info 💰 What it does: → Email finder AND verifier. I've tried a gazillion and usually see the best coverage with this tool → Can validate catch-all emails that other tools usually will tell you to throw in the garbage → Scrape Apollo - since they've now created export limits (what a dumb idea) you can pull your Apollo list from Findymail 💰 Pricing Credit-based, we typically spend $100 - 150 a month on it Instantly.ai - My go-to tool for campaigns 💰 What it does: → Unlimited email warm-up → Automate cold email campaigns → Set up email accounts and domains for you → Also has a database I've been using this sequencer since they launched on Appsumo and it rocks. It's the only cold email tool where you can do everything in one place. 💰 Pricing $37-358 per month, but if you just use the email-sending tool we pay $97 a month for all its features Those are my fav and the ones I recommend the most What about you? What other tools should be on this list? Lemme know! —- PS - B2B company looking to increase revenue & lead flow? Can't be bothered to learn all of these tools yourself? DM me OUTREACH and I'll share info on how we can help. - #b2bmarketing #leadgeneration #coldemail #agencyowner

  • My client books 100+ calls p/month from cold email at scale - here's the #1 challenge we had to solve to get here So the wonderful thing about Outbound is how predictable the results are... That is, after you've done initial testing and found something that works. You'll get to a point where you know you send X# of emails to get X# of leads/calls. Then it's just a matter of doing more volume But when you start to play the high-volume game and send 500, 1000+ emails a day There's a few new challenges that'll come up. Deliverability... Inbox management & lead follow-up... & more. However the #1 challenge we've found when doing outbound at scale, Is data. Getting enough leads that fit your ICP to email. The skill at this point, is data management, list building, and processes. When you solve this, nothing stands in your way of getting crazy results like this client of ours. It's really a struggle though, especially if your TAM is on the smaller side. Which is why I've become OBSESSED with Clay and its Waterfall enrichment capability If you're trying to scale outbound but struggling to find enough leads & contact info, give this a go If you use something like Apollo to get data, Eventually, you'll run out of leads, you'll hit everyone in the database. But that doesn't mean you reached everyone in your market, it just means you reached everyone in that particular database So the way to increase volume and get more leads is to use other databases and pool all of the leads together. Which works, but it's a pain in the buttocks You'd have to ✅ Download a list from Apollo ✅ Take the invalid leads that Apollo couldn't find contact info for ✅ Upload to a new database to find contact info for a % of those ✅ And so on and so on While also keeping a behemoth of a spreadsheet and having to cross-check for duplicates Now we've solved this using Clay Clay aggregates all of the databases and data sources in one place, so you can combine them to build a mega list + It has a waterfall enrichment filter that works like this: Take 1000 leads you want emails, or phone hashtag #s for → Clay will search Apollo (or whatever source you choose) and return let's say 600 leads → Then it'll search for another data source you choose to enrich the remaining 400 → Then it'll do it again with another data source, and so on and so on All completely automated, where this would normally take half a day to do! So it's giving us max data coverage and making it easier to keep filling our campaigns with fresh leads So cool! I came to Clay to use it for its AI features and personalization at scale, But keep finding new reasons to be in love with it ❤️ How are you using Clay to enhance your outbound? Let me know below! — PS: If you'd like to have our team help you book more calls & sign more clients from Outbound... • Here's the #1 mistake people make when writing a cold email or DM message. Same goes for all copywriting - ads, social posts, and video scripts: Most people don't get to the point quickly with a BIG, urgent "What's in it for them" value prop And they don't realize that when you send someone a cold email or message... You aren't just competing with other people selling the same thing as you You're competing with EVERYTHING in their inbox Which is usually → Their clients → Their team members → Urgent tasks and problems they need to solve That's what you're up against. Your offer and message needs to be so dang good it makes them prioritize you over all that. Highlight an important, expensive problem or massive opportunity for them QUICKLY Otherwise you're ignored, for a good reason. They have more pressing things to deal with To take this a step further.... You're not just competing with what's in their email inbox You also are competing for their attention against → Zoom calls → 10,000 Slack messages → Phone calls → Texts → Whatsapp → Their dog needs to walk → Personal errands → Their LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook feed When you realize this, you won't underestimate how good you have to be at copy To cut through the noise Usually when you don't get a reply... It's not that they hated your offer and think you suck They just have SO much else competing for attention and cold pitches are the last thing on their mind So step up your copy game! Here's a good litmus test if your message is good Ask yourself "Would I respond to this message and take a meeting" Simple as that 🙂 PS - we're taking new clients in Aug for DFY cold outreach - and on the consulting/DIY side Want to increase revenue, from the most predictable and reliable B2B channel out there? • I just booked 4 highly qualified sales calls in <1 hr of making calls Easiest appointments we've ever set, here's how We introduced warm-calling into our outbound process Basically - after a new lead comes in from Cold email campaigns, I pick up the phone and call them SHOCKING right But nobody does this in our space anymore And here's what I heard from prospects "Whoa, I'm surprised you actually called me that's amazing" "I appreciate that you took the time to reach out to me personally" "Thanks for the call, I TOTALLY forgot to reply and book in" Now that it's become super easy to cold email and DM prospects on social media... Less people are calling leads. Low hanging fruit! 🍒 Funny how sometimes all of the new tech and digital methods, cause the old traditional methods to work better We implemented this because... With cold outreach, AT BEST you'll see 50-60% of your leads book calls. Meaning you get plenty of "I'm interested, let's chat" replies....but half or more will stop answering This frustrated me so I just decided to try calling these people And it was surprisingly easy to book calls After all, they were interested, they just forgot to keep the conversation going over email You're not the most important thing on their mind, you're still a stranger at this point sharing an offer with them How I got their number → It's usually in their email signature → If not - and they are small, it's gonna be the phone # on their website → If not - and they are big, look up their contact on Apollo.io and you'll find a direct dial extension or a mobile number. Easy way to get more juice out of your pipeline and more calls booked from your outreach Try it! 🍒 PS - I'm not saying cold call people. That is low leverage. It works, but it takes so many calls to get 1 appointment. Warm call - use cold outreach to generate leads, and call them. 🍒 PSS - To supercharge this strategy, make outreach campaigns where you give something away for free. This typically gets you WAY more leads and responses, but often lower intent and a lower LTA ratio (lead to appointment) But if you're calling them, then all good! Now you can use outreach as a way to generate high-intent leads to call. 🍒 PS Want my team to set up outbound systems for you that grow revenue? DM me "Outreach" to learn more and chat - #b2bmarketing #leadgeneration #coldemail #agencyowner

440+ agencies + SaaS grew w/ our LinkedIn Cold Email Omnichannel Approach💰 DM me for a free course to get 3 Whale Clients in 90 days

💣 14 ways to supercharge your cold outreach using AI personalization + Clay Personalization at scale is the name of the game right now in Outbound. Cold outreach has gotten tougher. Easily accessible data and new SaaS tools make it easy to launch campaigns. + With PPC ad costs going up and up, outreach is a more attractive channel than ever →So your prospects are getting emailed nonstop Solution = Be different in your outreach, by personalizing each email. Reference research you found to make the email feel handcrafted. →Problem: This takes time, or a lot of expense if you have an army of VAs doing this for you The answer - use AI & automation to personalize your emails at scale. Using Clay 💯Here are 14 use cases for AI in outreach that I'm working on now or thinking about: >>Industry-specific 1. E-com agency: Scrape a Facebook ad a company is running. Then have GPT re-write a better ad, and include this in the email 2. Accounting/bookkeeping: Search the company on Linkedin to see if they have a CFO, bookkeeper, or accountant. If not, mention this in the email 3. SEO/Web agency: Have Clay scrape info from Similar web on their web traffic then have GPT write an email pointing out metrics they can improve 4. Business Consulting: Have Clay check if they are currently hiring for any roles, and pull the job description data. 5. Lead generation/sales agency: Scrape website info, have GPT analyze to determine who their ideal client is, and reference how you can help them book calls with those job titles in your email >>>General: can apply to any industry 6. Summarize a recent LinkedIn post 7. Mention a podcast they were featured on (AI can even pull a quote from it that you can insert into your email template!) 8. Check if they are B2B or B2C. 9. Clean up and normalize company names, job titles, etc (remove LLC from the company name so this isn't in your outreach email) 10. Scrape website information, pick out a recent customer from their case studies or testimonial, and compliment them on the result in the email 11. Search for another decision maker on their team, and have a PS line "Hey, should I reach out to your VP Christian instead?" 12. Summarize the companys focus or mission as a first line: "I saw you're focused on XYZ, so I thought this would be useful for you..." 13. Mention a competitor of theirs "We can help you grow bigger than XYZ down the block" ➡️The possibilities are endless! Again, everything above can be fully automated If youre leveraging AI in your outreach, Id love to hear below - what's a cool campaign, use case, or result you're getting? — 🎇 PS- I shared avideo in the comments walking through an AI workflow we built for a clients cold email campaign. You can also steal the template here https://lnkd.in/ewNRkMkx 🎇 PPS- Want my team to supercharge your existing outreach efforts and 2x-3x your appointments, using strategies like this?
