We ALL belong at Reveille Grounds - today and every day. But that doesn't mean we don't celebrate the beauty in our differences, the power in our shared beliefs, and the strength of our community that only comes with diversity. We're especially proud to hear from the women of our community that as far as places go where veterans are "supposed" to gather, Reveille is welcoming, inclusive, inspiring, and... SAFE. And if we do nothing else, we'll do everything in our power to keep it that way. #YouBelongHere

Life has been extra life-y lately, hasn't it? Join us every Wednesday from 9 - Noon. We'll gather for as long as it takes for every member of our community to feel safe, grounded, and seen again. Recently a victim of mass layoffs? Come. In a position to hire? Come. Feel the need to update your resume? Come. Feel alone, nervous, or scared? Come. We'll keep the coffee brewing and leave the rest up to how the conversation goes. COME if you: - Are willing to review someone else's resume - Need a new headshot - Believe coffee is healing - Have a resource or opportunity to share - Are looking to upskill - Could use a bag of groceries - Can listen and problem solve The coffee will be hot, our couch is comfy, there will probably be donuts (we like to eat our feelings), and our playroom will be ready for any tiny humans in your life. Come.

We often talk about the suicide "problem" within our military-connected community. Don't get us wrong - ONE life lost is too many. But what if we're focusing our efforts on the wrong part of the problem? Intervening in a moment of crisis is too late. Instead, our solution-focused mission at Reveille is in the business of solving the problems of loneliness and lack of purpose. Health outcomes improve when we experience BELONGING. In a world where the recent narrative is seeking to diminish the power of diversity and instead push forth an agenda that seems to seek weakness in differences, we're pushing back and reminding you that YOU belong at Reveille. You play a role here! You matter, and we're better for your existence. We won't compromise our values no matter what plays over your airwaves, so if you're looking for something you haven't found yet, check out Reveille Grounds!

As we're a proud member of a large campus, we know that finding our suite can be a challenge! Whether you park on Severn Street or make your way into our gated parking lot, we have new signage to help you get to our 2nd floor space in Building C (the one closest to the Bayard Street side of Gaslight Square). Check out https://buff.ly/3VhIrP7 for more info, and look for these new feather flags and our other signs to get you the rest of the way!

When a group of generous friends asked if we'd consider hosting a group of THEIR friends for a very special Super Bowl Party tomorrow, of course we got to do one of OUR favorite things... We said YES! If you're looking for a way to volunteer while having a blast and watching the game, come to Reveille tomorrow night! We'll be distributing hygiene kits, serving a hearty meal, and welcoming members of our community that may not have a warm place to watch the game. Join us anytime between 5pm and the end of the game! Let us know you're coming and consider snagging some of the remaining items off of the donation list by following this link: https://buff.ly/3EEUcZD

Did you know that Reveille's Founder is also the newest Program Manager for IVMF's Onward to Opportunity program? We have pretty high standards over here, and we do our best to only endorse, recommend, and refer our people to high quality, vetted, and integrity-driven programs, resources, and opportunities. With that in mind, we clearly think highly of this one! Any veteran with at least 180 days of active duty time and an honorable discharge are eligible for this robust training program, and at the end, IVMF will pay 100% of the cost to sit for the certification test! This opportunity is also available to active duty (within 180 days of transition), and ALL military and veteran spouses. Click the link below for more info, and to fill out the interest form! If you're local to the National Capital Region, you may just see a familiar face.
A study from Penn State’s Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness, found that Onward to Opportunity (O2O) participants start their careers earning an average of $7,000 more than their peers. This higher starting salary translates to greater financial stability and stronger long-term career prospects for veterans and military spouses. 📊 We’re sharing key insights all month long as part of #IHeartData, highlighting the real-world impact of IVMF research. https://lnkd.in/eiUuHFp
