This is a fantastic example of using COTS products to accomplish tasks that normally require a custom tailored solution. Great work by the team at DH Satellite and the Owens Valley Radio Observatory!

I am happy to note working with Pacific Cable the completion of a 12 antenna installation, at the new Switch location in Glendale California. This site has 9 fixed ( some with Multi-beam feed systems) along with two motorized antennas with C/Ku feeds controlled by the RCI 4500 embedded control systems ( this is a great controller ). At this site we used RF to fiber converters and provided over 60 feeds. These antennas have been repurposed from a site in Woodstock Ga.

In addition to manufacturing easy to use antenna controllers, we also offer on site support to help our customers find success during every step of the process. Today's work was fine tuning Starlink tracking with an OEM in Phoenix. We offer this same white glove service for retrofits, and new equipment. Feel free to reach out if you find yourself in need. NBC Field Ops continued it rollout this week of its DataHubs… this time on Ford Hybrid F150 Chassis’ equipped with Fords 7.2kW Power Pro battery system. The Hybrid PowerPro is a revolutionary system that allows contractors of all types to generate 7.2kW from the systems onboard Hybrid LiFePO4 batteries without the vehicle running...If batteries run low the system will AutoStart and rapidly recharge itself. There is no aftermarket alternator, inverter or batteries…The system is all OEM Ford and controlled right from the radio screen. We hope this system gets adopted across the Ford product line because its just phenomenal! As this truck will be parked in various municipal and public garages, the conversion was done at bed height with no elements taller than the cab. It supports dedicated IP transmission using a Satlite 1.2M auto-compensating Antenna, IRT Buc and Newtec Modem that feeds NBC’s hub. The system also consists of a Starlink HP "in motion" system, Pepwave HD4 cellular modem and lots of networking. Much more to come.
