On #InternationalWomensDay, we bring focus to women’s health research and the importance of representation in clinical trials. Here, this takes shape in a few different ways that are important to scientific innovation. 👩💻Starting last year, our WISER (Women in Industry, Science, and Engineering at Regeneron) employee resource group hosted a series of seminars highlighting unique diseases and health challenges faced by women. These sessions help our colleagues connect their work in our labs and offices to unmet needs of patients. This year WISER will continue to host sessions that dive into these under-researched areas. 🔬In our Regeneron Genetics Center labs, our exploration of human genetics – especially for diseases that are under-researched – leads to potentially transformative discoveries in diseases that impact women such as #endometriosis, and we're collaborating with Rutgers in a study of the genetics of #breastcancer. 📚We're committed to bringing it forward to the next generation of scientists. We support a variety of #STEM programs that help young women scientists globally through education, mentorship and more. 🩺 Being able to achieve the extraordinary for patients starts with being supported in your own life. Our benefits cover many aspects of colleagues’ wellbeing, including journeys to parenthood, paid parental leave and menopause assistance as well as personalized coaching and support to colleagues. Our investments in these areas reflect our desire to advance and support our talent, fuel our innovation pipeline and deliver more for patients.

If you receive any suspicious communication, please verify its authenticity by reaching out to us: https://lnkd.in/efiFcp2a

Today, in recognition of #WorldObesityDay, Regeneron continues to work on innovative solutions to help reduce the rates of obesity. Recent advancements in the treatment of obesity have made significant strides in helping people lose weight—but it often comes at a cost: a loss of muscle mass, which can have a negative impact on metabolic health and overall physical fitness. Our years of research and subsequent scientific discoveries around muscle and metabolism have led us to focus our research efforts on a muscle preservation approach with a goal to help preserve or even grow muscle during periods of caloric restriction. With these innovative approaches, Regeneron is striving to shift the conversation around weight loss so it’s not just about quantity, but quality, too.

Today, we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. We're proud to have recently partnered with I Wish, an annual STEM event in Ireland that encourages female students to consider careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The event featured thought-provoking sessions with inspiring speakers and panelists, as well as engaging and interactive stands where our colleagues had the opportunity to meet some of the brilliant future scientists. Partnering with I Wish is just one of the many ways we invest in and empower the next generation of women and girls in the scientific community. #IWish2025 #NoGirlGetsLeftBehind #DreamDareDo
