About us
Progress West Hospital is a member of BJC HealthCare, one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States. BJC HealthCare has ranked as one of the top workplaces among large employers in the seventh annual St. Louis Post-Dispatch Top Workplaces for 2018 program. Opened in 2007, Progress West Hospital is BJC HealthCare’s first greenfield hospital offering the latest in facility design, technology, and patient centered care. Our mission of providing high quality care inspires us to deliver the experiences you would expect at a hospital with progress in its name. We have 72 private rooms, 24-hour emergency services, surgical services, a cardiac catheterization lab, medical/surgical inpatient services, obstetrical services with labor and delivery suites, diagnostic imaging and lab services, and is a Level II Stroke Center. In partnership with St. Louis Children’s Hospital, we also offer pediatric expertise including emergency, inpatient, and neonatology services.
