𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡. Lately, my co-founder Asad and I have been reflecting on how AI-assisted engineering isn’t just reshaping code. It’s reshaping technical roadmaps. Here’s what we’re seeing: • Frameworks with a high ceiling (more performance, more optimizability) will win, even if they come with a steeper learning curve. • Engineers who can see around corners and make sharp architecture bets will get way more leverage from AI tools. We are hiring! Looking for a founding engineer (staff level+) to join us at Potrero Labs. We're a small, fast-moving team (currently four) based in the SF Bay Area, building Jams — the ridiculously easy way to create and share conversational videos. We believe Jams has the potential to be one of the most widely used consumer AI products ever, making video creation 100x more accessible and authentic. We have a working product and existing users, but there is lots to build and grow. If you also believe that now is a once in a generation time to build something new, let’s talk.
