My heart is so full from a week of building community and belonging in Martha’s Vineyard – learning from inspiring leaders, celebrating our proud legacies, and finding joy in authentic connection. One special highlight: a wonderful panel with Black Women Thriving, an event hosted by The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, and Pinterest, where we discussed how Black women are driving excellence and shaping culture everywhere, especially in the beauty industry.  I also spoke to some issues that are near and dear to my heart, specifically stigmas around Black women’s health and aging.  I see more women, especially Black women, rewriting the narrative every day, claiming every new chapter of their lives as a time of openness, self-acceptance, and reinvention.  There is strength in naming these stigmas head-on, sharing our stories, and normalizing these conversations, in work and in life. I can’t emphasize enough how much it meant to me to be able to engage in this incredible community – a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, including CNN’s Abby Phillip, Susan Akkad of Estée Lauder, and Julee Wilson from Cosmopolitan!

I’m incredibly proud to share Pinterest’s Q2 earnings results. We delivered $998M in revenue—growing 17% year over year—and reached another all-time high with 578 million monthly active users. Gen Z now makes up more than half of our user base, underscoring the value we’re bringing to the next generation of consumers.

Loved visiting our Pinterest Mexico City office for the first time – so great to see lots of amazing collaboration, creativity, and bold thinking in action here! This team works on many critical aspects of the platform, including data science, mobile and web foundations, and conversion measurement, to name a few. All of this important work is helping us accelerate our innovation to deliver a fantastic global product for our users and advertisers and double down on our international growth strategy.  I appreciated hearing from the team and celebrating their work. Happy National Intern Day – and a big thanks to our amazing interns at Pinterest!  It’s incredibly special to honor and acknowledge all interns this summer. Starting your career journey can feel overwhelming, but one of the smartest moves you can make is to pursue an internship. Internships are more than a line on your resume—they’re a launchpad for professional growth and self-discovery. This day is particularly special for me, as my professional journey began as a summer intern many years ago.  From the hands-on experience, to the incredible networks established, and the knowledge gained understanding workplace culture, the experience prepared me for life as an early career professional and ultimately finding my passion and purpose. So to our amazing interns at Pinterest and anyone else pursuing an internship, embrace every challenge, ask questions, and soak up as much as you can. You just can’t beat the joy of building things and the power of seeing something you imagined actually come to life.  That’s what Pinterest’s 13th annual Makeathon, where employees from across the company come together to experiment and test out their favorite ideas, is all about. Very proud of all of our Makeathon participants this year and their amazing ideas.  Those ideas reflected the creativity, brilliance, and above all, the positivity that people at Pinterest bring to work every day.  We can’t share exactly what they came up with just yet, but I can tell you this: some of our best features, from our Trends Tool to our internal AI productivity tools, come from past Makeathons.  So stay tuned for more innovation to come from Pinterest.
