We loved having Sheri West as our keynote speaker at Convention this past weekend! And thanks to the generosity of the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation, each attendee left with a copy of her book Confidence Unleashed: 10 Kickass Strategies To Grow As A Leader (Without Changing Who You Are).

I'm still buzzing with energy from keynoting at the Phi Sigma Sigma, Inc. National Convention in DC this weekend. What a thrill it was to see my book in the hands of these brilliant young women. And let me tell you: they brought the energy—we even had a dance party! 💃 But my heart sank when we talked about speaking up. When I asked what labels they'd heard used to describe vocal women, the responses came pouring out - each word more cutting than the last. Bossy. Demanding. Too much. Attention-seeking. Difficult. Full of herself. Read on for some tips on breaking free from this hurtful double standard. *** Huge gratitude to Michelle Ardern and Phi Sigma Sigma, Inc. for having me. Your sisterhood is powerful and contagious! Once, Always 💚 #ConfidenceUnleashed #careerreadiness #newsletter #speakup #phisigmasigma #oncealways
