National Home Infusion Association reposted this
Today I had the honor of testifying at a state Senate hearing in Colorado with Allie Hoepker, RDN, CNSC (Amerita) and Shane O'Connor (Option Care Health) along with several parenteral nutrition consumers and advocates in support of legislation that would require CO Medicaid to address insufficient PN payment. The bill was initiated by a physician at Denver Children's Hospital and brings awareness to the critical situation facing this vulnerable and complex patient population. The National Home Infusion Association will continue to partner with The Oley Foundation and others to address insufficient reimbursement for PN and support efforts like SB25-084 in CO.
