Rare Disease Day is observed on the last day of February, as February 29 is the rarest day of the year. Aiming to raise awareness of rare disease and promote equity in diagnostic and therapeutic access and in life, it is a globally coordinated movement. This year, we would like to reflect on the work being done by Dr. Claudia Gonzaga-Jauregui, who studies rare disease. She is also part of ReMexER, an organization that, among other work, hosts a Rare Disease Day symposium. Check out a blog post we made last year about the insights she shared with NEB through a podcast and internal seminar: https://lnkd.in/ey7m36Ai
