From Helsinki with love: NDRC 24H2 Accelerator startup DevAlly was named a top-three startup at Slush for its AI-driven digital accessibility compliance. Selected from thousands of international techies at what is fast becoming Europe's must-attend event in the startup calendar, DevAlly co-founder Cormac Chisholm pitched to 14,000 techies alongside the Slush #Top20. Having scaled for six months in the Accelerator, wowing investors and the Irish tech ecosystem with an impressive pitch at October's NDRC Demo Day in Dogpatch Labs, the startup is back to BAU building products to equip the industry ahead of the looming European Accessibility Act. For more than two decades, the National Digital Research Centre (NDRC) has contributed to the development of the Irish startup ecosystem by advancing early-stage digital enterprises and aiding portfolio companies in raising +€500 million, of which +€200 million was secured in the last four years alone. It is with this legacy of achievement that we announce the NDRC will cease operations in November 2025. As the NDRC enters its final operating year, we remain committed to maintaining our programmes. Operations will continue as usual until November 2025, and there are plans in place to manage and support ongoing investments.
